SEMO Alerts provides the Southeast Missouri area with critical public safety and weather information. We work with area emergency services to provide information to the public, that allows everyone to be aware of hazards in their area as well as incident areas to say clear of. During severe weather SEMO Alerts has a network of trained weather spotters providing information to our communication cen

ter, and we are provided with information from the National Weather Service, and local public safety officials. Our staff is comprise of volunteers that have worked in emergency services as; police officers, fire fighters, EMS personnel, and several other aspects of emergency services. We are far more than just "some guy with a scanner", we are constantly upgrading our equipment, training our staff and working hard to provide accurate information as fast as possible to the public for free.
