💔 We are in receipt of the devastating news that the founder of Digital Smoke Signals, Myron Dewey, has progressed on and is now on his journey to the Spirit World.

Myron, brother we just spoke yesterday and you reminded me again of why you are doing this work, and now you will be with the ancestors. I cannot thank you enough for everything you taught me and went through during Standing Rock, for all your many sacrifices both seen and unseen. Thank you for your example of courage and determination and love for the people. You taught me that we needed to bring media through indigenous eyes, and so many other precious things!!!

You told me that because you saw so much violence as a child, that it motivated you to do historical trauma training with youth and tribes. You did this work while in prayer and with all your heart.

I am at a loss for words. Now you are amongst the greats in the Spirit World. Love you forever, my brother Myron!!! See you on the other side. I will always remember you as you are pictured below, during Standing Rock. Pesha u. 💔
