BEYONCÉ ADDRESSES JAY Z’S ALLEGED INFIDELITY IN ‘LEMONADE’ FILM!!

Beyoncé has once again outdone herself. With few details announced in advance of her LEMONADE one-hour special on HBO, the pop icon debuted her new album as a film, featuring Serena Williams in a segment and contributions from The Weeknd and James Blake.
Similar to her rollout for 2013’s BEYONCÉ, she pieced together music videos with in-between vignettes and spoken-word introductions. Though she wasn’t necessarily explicit about the content of the music, it’s clear that she’s coping with the emotional fallout from her husband Jay Z allegedly cheating on her, using the project as a medium to explore her feelings about the situation and how she got through it.
Directors for the visual-album include Mark Romanek, Khalil Joseph, Melina Matsoukas, Todd Tourso, Dikayl Rimmasch, Jonas Akerlund and, of course, Beyoncé. The special was an aural spectacular, featuring slow-moving images in black-andwhite and entirely devoid of dance routines, one of her hallmarks.
Instead, LEMONADE was a clear exploration of marriage post-BeyoncĂ©, where she reveled in her marriage’s sexual nature. For her latest, she’s much more straight-faced, staring the infidelity straight in the face and addressing her husband directly. “You remind me of my father, a magician / Able to exist in two places at once / And the tradition and men and my blood, you come home at 3 a.m. and lie to me / What are you hiding?” she says at one point, plunging off the top of a building into a deep ocean, reemerging in a bedroom brimming with water and asking, “Are you cheating on me?”

BEYONCÉ’S ‘LEMONADE’ NOW AVAILABLE ON ITUNES AND AMAZON!!

LEMONADE has been served. Fans who weren’t able to get a taste of Beyoncé’s sixth solo album due to its TIDAL exclusivity, can now get their fill through other digital platforms.
The project, which includes 12 tracks and the hour-long LEMONADE film, is available for download for $17.99 via iTunes and Amazon. However, it remains a streaming exclusive on TIDAL.
The BeyHive will also get a chance to purchase physical copies of the visual album in CD/DVD form. Amazon has a pre-order set up with a projected release date of May 6.
LEMONADE is the follow-up to Bey’s 2013 surprise self-titled album. It features appearances by Kendrick Lamar, The Weeknd, James Blake, and Jack White. Production on the project was handled by the likes of Diplo, Jack White, Hit-Boy, Boots, Mike Dean, Just Blaze, and Mike WiLL Made-It.
The visual album premiered as an hour-long HBO special and as a TIDAL exclusive on Saturday (Apr. 23). The project highlights her personal life, including her husband Jay Z’s alleged infidelity and how the two reconciled afterwards.

APPETITE FOR RECONSTRUCTION: GUNS ‘N ROSES AT COACHELLA.

At Coachella, you never forget you are in the desert. The lush oasis of green grass and palm trees just underlines how thoroughly inhospitable to sustaining life the climate feels. During a historic California drought, watching Coachella workers in irrigating golf carts continually spray water on Indio’s dusty polo grounds felt extravagant. But attending Coachella is not about questioning conspicuous consumption – it’s about perfecting it. And I have come here to see Guns N’ Roses, whose Appetite for Destruction defined the stratospheric heights and infinite depths of 1980s excess. Indiana redhead William Bruce Bailey (later known as Axl Rose) and British guitar virtuoso Saul Hudson (nicknamed Slash by character actor Seymour Cassel after moving to L.A. as a child) are one of the great productively flammable partnerships that fill the history of classic rock and American literature. Bromances between lead singers and guitarists can be especially fraught – intellectual Tom Sawyers saddled with thrusting Huck Finns. (The guitarist is not necessarily the groin; Diamond Dave is the hips to Eddie Van Halen’s technically-oriented brain.) Axl and Slash may have purposely patterned their double-wild-card dynamic after the “Toxic Twins” bit of Aerosmith’s Steven Tyler and Joe Perry, who were themselves aping the “Glimmer Twins,” Jagger and Richards. Or maybe successful hard rock bands are just the right humid environment to grow this particular kind of folie à deux. Either way, Guns N’ Roses’s two most important founding members had not spoken in nearly 20 years before the 2015 thaw that led to Coachella. In the intervening time, Slash formed Velvet Revolver and released solo albums, while Rose burnished his rep as an eccentric diva – a Howard Hughes type with an obsessive attention to detail and an insatiable need for control. In 1997, he bought the Guns N’ Roses name to use himself; he grew reclusive and sequestered himself in expensive recording sessions, dancing with Mr. Pro Tools for years on end. It’s the meeting of these two that makes this the first real Guns N’ Roses reunion.
The common narrative that the excess and bombast of hair metal were punctured by the arrival of grunge – that the pyro was snuffed by flannel – holds true more for the fluffier pop metal borne of the Strip than for Guns N’ Roses. In fact, despite Kurt Cobain’s well-chronicled hatred of Axl Rose, the two front men possessed similar traits in the 1990s — a love of The Beatles (speaking of rock and roll bromances), a striking androgyny, and a deft way of making their genius seem easy. GNR were a transitional animal anticipating grunge, which for all its beef with the jockishness of hair metal was just as obsessed with shredding. After Slash left, Rose laid the band’s initial legacy at the feet of a rotating cast of ringers, with himself in the starring role of the captain lashed to the mast. Grunge didn’t kill Guns N’ Roses. Axl did it all by himself.

WHY IS DJ KHALED SO HOT RIGHT NOW?

DJ Khaled has had a big week. He visited President Obama to discuss criminal justice reform, and announced he would be opening for Beyonce on tour this summer. But what, exactly, is DJ Khaled doing so right? Charlamagne and his panel weighed in on this week’s Uncommon Sense.

Is it because Jay Z is his manager? Sounds like a major key to us.

RIHANNA THINKS JENNIFER LOPEZ CAN WEAR THESE BOOTS BETTER THAN SHE CAN.

When Rihanna dropped her collaboration with Manolo Blahnik, it became pretty obvious pretty quickly that there are very few people in this world who could pull her designs off — I mean, there’s a pair of waist-high denim boots.

Somehow, Rihanna has discovered the one other person who can not only get away with ’em, but wear them better than she can — Jennifer Lopez, duh.

RYAN GOSLING WANTS YOU TO KNOW HE NEVER SAID THE WORDS ‘HEY GIRL.

Ryan Gosling has a lot to say about that “Hey Girl” meme — starting with “I never said it.” That’s right. Your entire existence has been a lie. Not only did Gosling never once mutter the words “hey girl,” he also has no idea where it came from. (The Internet is a weird, beautiful place, Gosling.)

Watch Russell Crowe confront his “Nice Guys” costar about the long-running meme in the hilarious Buzzfeed video below. But be warned: Gosling doesn’t say “hey girl” in it — not even ironically. Goddamnit.

ELLIE GOULDING’S NEW TATTOO LOOKS LIKE A DREAMCATCHER FROM THE YEAR 4000.

Ellie Goulding, just got a new tattoo, and it looks as ethereal as her voice sounds.

The “Anything Could Happen” singer added quite nicely to her ink collection by receiving a tattoo from Doctor Woo (real name: Brian Woo), an artist that has a client list that reads like the attendees of an awards show after-party. (Drake, Cara Delevingne, Ariel Winter, David Beckham, and Miley Cyrus are all walking around with his ink.)

PRINCE DEAD AT 57..

Prince, the legendary artist who pushed boundaries of music and identity, has died. His publicist, Yvette Noel-Schure, confirmed his death to MTV News: “It is with profound sadness that I am confirming that the legendary, iconic performer, Prince Rogers Nelson, has died at his Paisley Park residence this morning at the age of 57.”
The artist had reportedly been ill with the flu and hospitalized last week. His final performance was one week ago at Atlanta’s Fox Theatre.
The cause of death has not yet been announced.
In his trademark purple clothing, Prince found chart success in the late 1970s and throughout the 1980s with hits like “Why You Wanna Treat Me So Bad?,” “When Doves Cry,” and “Let’s Go Crazy”; the latter two, singles from his 1984 album Purple Rain, also made it into a film of the same name. He hit No. 1 again in 1986 with “Kiss,” in 1989 with “Batdance” (a contribution to the 1989 Batman film he soundtracked), and in 1991 with “Cream."

REAL WINNERS AND LOSERS: NEW YORK VALUES EDITION.

Although the exact numbers attached to each primary and caucus remain unknown until after the polls close, it’s usually pretty clear who the victor will be long beforehand. Thus far in the 2016 cycle, the only shocker has been Michigan, where Bernie Sanders surprised everyone. Otherwise, voters — who may individually think that their final choice was dictated by a brew of research, gut instinct, and the alchemy of influence — are often predictable. New York, an extraordinarily diverse place that values loyal Democrats, looked like a Clinton state on Tuesday. And it was — although the race also highlighted how much demographics diverge at the upstate/downstate divide. Clinton easily won the state, but Sanders was the favored candidate of most of the counties up north, where the population is much more rural, far whiter, and closer to Vermont.
New York is also a state filled with rural conservatives, former factory towns, Northeast Republicans, and Staten Island — all of which made it look awful Trump-friendly. This was Trump’s best state yet, with Staten Island especially strong: About 80 percent of Republican voters there cast their ballots for him.

Demographics over the past month have been unkind to Clinton, and about as good as usual for Trump. For the next few weeks, the primary system will linger in the Northeast, where it looks like the two front-runners could continue the streak started today, continuing to make voters’ collective biographies the most reliable winner of the primary. For those hoping that a bit of idealism or Kasichmentum might steal the spotlight, there’s nothing to stop you from dreaming — but that method doesn’t always have the best track record.

And so we beat on, boats against the current, etc. etc. etc.

BEYONCÉ, FRANK OCEAN, AND THE ART OF ANTICIPATION.

Last Saturday, BeyoncĂ© released a teaser trailer for Lemonade, which we now know is going to be a documentary-style special, airing on HBO this Saturday. The trailer, which is just over one minute, is jarring in its presentation, at moments seeming like it could be a trailer for a horror film. There’s Beyoncé’s voice droning softly over a rapidly changing mix of images: a field consumed by dark clouds, an ominous stairwell drowned in red light, women on a bus with painted faces, an alleyway on fire; all the while, we get a continuous shot of Beyoncé’s head, covered in blonde braids, arching back from an equally blonde fur coat. As the anticipation builds, in the moment before we see her full face, the screen cuts to black. There is a title, the promise of a “World Premiere Event,” and a time, all while Beyoncé’s voice repeatedly whispers “pull me in, pull me in, pull me in
”

In the moment, watching this from my parked car on Saturday afternoon, I realized that even in paying close attention to the visuals of this, I had no idea what it was for. A song? A movie? A new line of Beyoncé-themed drinks?

I think that this, too, is now a part of the art — the art of creating excitement from mystery. The Internet, awash with anticipation, cleared its schedule, called its long-lost friends to check if they still had HBO and if they “wouldn’t mind company” on Saturday night, all on the promise of BeyoncĂ© delivering something. Even if we weren’t sure what it was.

When I was younger, album release days were similar to Christmas. A few dozen small holidays, circled on the calendar in red, coming two or maybe even three times a month. To know that there was a Tuesday when an album I anticipated would arrive, barring a rare drastic pushback, was a comforting and stabilizing force in my early music fanhood. A record store that I had to go to first thing after getting out of school on a Tuesday, hoping that they hadn’t sold out of whatever release I had been traveling toward since my last purchase. Years from now, when the idea of release dates has long gone out the window and music fans are looking over their shoulders while being jolted from one surprise release to the next, we will look back to December 2013, when a new self-titled BeyoncĂ© album arrived in the middle of the night. We will talk of the night when we fell asleep and woke up to a whole BeyoncĂ© album that we knew nothing of, like it was a historical moment, another grand tale of human discovery: I just woke up, and the Internet was quoting words to a song I’d never heard. There were memes that I didn’t understand. And then, in the distance, there it was.

A “surprise” album, before this, meant an album that arrived with little notice — like what My Bloody Valentine did months before Beyoncé’s 2013 album, releasing mbv, their first new music in 22 years, with only a Facebook post that existed for two hours before the album dropped. Those were high stakes, but not nearly as high as, say, the biggest pop star in the world creating an album without a whisper of notice or promotion and casting it into a winter night. If nothing else, this gave a type of permission to musicians across genres. If BeyoncĂ© can drop a surprise album, why shouldn’t other stars give the world a surprise song or mixtape out of nowhere?

It is hard not to notice and appreciate the impact this has on the music fan. Once you know that, at any moment, you can be undone by the arrival of something new by a musician you love, the intensity of your fanhood reaches new, more anxious levels. Even when BeyoncĂ© isn’t actively promising new music, she’s still promising new music simply by existing. The magic trick has done its work. Once the rabbit comes out of the hat, there is no putting it back, hoping no one noticed. Everything is believable now. When Kendrick Lamar’s Untitled Unmastered crept up as an early-evening rumor before becoming a nighttime sensation, it was equal parts shocking and desperately needed. This is part of being a music fan now: sitting on the edge, a handful of wishes that could possibly come true or never exist at all, each of us a minute away from something that will send us darting to our computers, parking our cars wherever they may sit, and streaming whatever falls, seemingly from the sky, into our eager laps.

The other side of this is, of course, the unfulfilled promise. Most of this stems from pure entitlement, the way some of us feel that we are owed a Frank Ocean album because he made a great one once before. This is also the magic trick that can’t be undone: the one where you touched greatness once and now must do it again. Produce at all costs — anxiety, fear, disinterest be damned. I wish for a Frank Ocean album, but I also wish for Frank Ocean to want to make another album, and another one after it.

Some artists tease and tease but never follow through. Views From the 6, Drake’s fourth album, is scheduled to be released in just over a week, if we are to believe the latest reports. This, after nearly a year of vague mentions of Views being “almost finished,” countless shots of Drake and his team in the studio, and a host of throwaway singles being released by Drake, most of them better than album cuts from some of his peers. And this is, of course, also fine. To strike a balance between these two extremes — anxiety over the potential for a surprise and overwhelming anticipation — there has to be a world in which an artist promises a prize and then pulls it just out of reach at the last moment, after letting our fingertips touch its edge.

The dilemma here, in what this has done to us as music listeners, is how quickly we listen to music, form opinions on it, and then discard it in anticipation of the next arrival. I blink and a new song is a distant memory. In music years, it feels like the craze over Beyoncé’s “Formation” happened an entire lifetime ago. So few pieces of popular music linger beyond what brief takes can be squeezed from them. In a way, this is exciting, even when it is excruciating. I am a different music fan now because I have to be. I am no different than everyone else, waiting for my favorite bands to come out of nowhere and announce they have re-formed, all while looking at my watch and waiting for a pop artist to finally deliver on the album they’d long promised. This is the current climate: One grand musical moment swallowing the next, all of us along for the ride, hoping to find something we can dance to.

I have HBO, and so I will field calls from old friends who had to ask a friend of a friend for my phone number that they had perhaps long discarded. I will invite them into my house so that we can, once again, watch BeyoncĂ© cash in on her ever-expanding artistic vision. Even as I do this, I look out on the landscape of music fans that have been built and continue to be built. And I want to say: Stay home, Frank Ocean. They will never love you outside like they have loved the memory of what you once gave. Nothing you present to them will be good enough to satisfy what time and distance have imagined you to be. Because of this, they do not deserve you now. Make them wait, until your name is only a faint memory on their tongues. Come out when it’s safe. When the magic trick is fresh again. When you can step on a stage, confidently reach your hand into a black top hat, and set an entire audience on the edge of its seats.L

Kylie Jenner uses model who looks DOUBLE of Angelina Jolie for lip gloss advert!!

Kylie Jenner has thrust a model who looks the spitting image of Angelina Jolie right into the limelight.
That's after the reality star signed up stunning Mara Teigen, who let's just say bares more than a slight resemblance to Angelina, to promote her lip gloss line.
Mara, 21, stars in the extended commercial for Kylie Cosmetics which dropped a few weeks back on YouTube.
The advert is not even one month old yet and already it's managed to rake in almost eight million views on the site.
You don't need to watch it for long to see that Mara is the red hot double of Angelina.
