IT'S TIME TO NORMALIZE THESE:
1. Pag absent, absent ka. Wag mo isipin ang naiwang work mo. Kaya ka nag absent eh, kasi may reason ka not to work. You have other priorities for that day, whether for your rest, a special occasion, taking a break or having a vacation. Make the most out of your absence!
2. If you're sick, take a leave. Pag naka sick leave, REST! Hindi ka naman work from home but naka sick leave. HINDI KA ROBOT.
3. Remember, you are replaceable. Pag work, sa workplace lang yun. Hindi ka employee sa bahay mo. You're a loving parent, child, or spouse. YOU ARE MORE THAN JUST AN EMPLOYEE!
4. Promote Well-Being and Self-Care. Saying NO when the work is overwhelming is a form of self-care. DON'T GLORIFY OVERWORKING. WORK SMARTER, NOT HARDER.
5. When we die, our positions will be filled again after few months, but the vacuum and void in our families and at our homes might be costly.
6. Take a break, magbakasyon, magtravel. HAVE A ME-TIME too.
