I've always known what shots I needed and wanted... but never took the time to actually write them down. Came across a YouTube video where they perfectly outlined what I'd been doing all along.

I printed this out and taped it to my clapboard just as a nice reminder to that jumbled mess that is my brain!

Yes! a life hack... well filmmaker life hack! HaHaHa

I've been approached to consider helping local actors produce a short show-reel to help better showcase their acting/look etc.. for potential projects.

Finding time and coordinating all parties in all our busy lives can require some effort... but my interest was perked.

Well made big plans and had high hopes to get the exterior shots I was looking for this past Thanksgiving week with a visit to a remote section of Utah.

Unfortunately sometimes the best laid plans can go awry... Starting off on a bad start, I failed to grab the shots I was looking for.

While I enjoy road trips to clear the mind and dream.. I just suffered a massive and unexpected creative slump when I reached my destination.

No matter, I press on and at this wiring making plans and saving pennies to venture out this spring and get the vision inside my mind onto my hard drive.

Adventure continues : )

This is my mobile base as a solo-filmmaker. Nothing fancy... just a mobile table, sun shade on a light stand , a half way capable vehicle that can get me to places more remote (with its monthly payments...ugh) and most importantly finding areas with no peeps and other distractions... where I can work uninterrupted and not scare off the natives as I setup my camera, dawn my costume and act in front of a personless camera on a tripod! hahahah
