Conditions of Tariqatu Tijaniyya ordered by Shāykh Ahmad Tijani Al-Hassani رضي الله عنه

Received from His Grandfather The Holy Prophet Muhammad Rasulullah ﷺ are as follows:

1. The disciple must be a Muslim.

2. The disciple must pray 5 times Daily and on time.

3. The disciple must be kind to his parents.

4. The disciple must not claim the title of Muqaddam when it is not the case. According to some Awliya, this is a sure sign of a negative outcome.

5. The disciple must show respect to all those affiliated with Seyidina Ahmed Tijani (may ALLAH be satisfied with him) even more so to the elite among them.

6. The disciple must not sever the ties that link him to other beings except in the case of religious necessity, and least of all with his brothers in the Tariqa.

7. The disciple must perform ( Lahzim) every day both after Fajr prayers and after Asr prayers.

8. The disciple must perform the Wazifa which includes:

1. Istighfar
2. Salatil fatihi
3. Lailahaila Llahu
4. Jawharatul Kamal

and the Tahleel (Hailala on Friday) in the congregation whenever possible.

Whosoever fails to respect any one of these conditions must resume immediately and with enthusiasm so that Allah (The Glorified and The Exalted) permits him to remain in the Tariqa.
