I’m not telling you that Oreos and ice cream are bad foods. What I am saying is that when you are new to weight loss and have a tough time regulating what you choose to eat, it is a good idea to rid your home of external triggers (aka- foods that don’t align with your goal) Replace those foods with foods that do align with your goals! Apple pie was for sure on the menu when I was in a fat loss phase and continues to be on the menu at maintenance. You might notice that many of my recipes are for single serve desserts. I do this on purpose. It puts friction between me and having second helpings. You make these delicious treats you will need: 4 wonton wrappers 1/3 cup light apple pie filling (I use lucky leaf) Zero calorie granular sugar Cinnamon Divide the 1/3 cup of apple pie filling among the 4 wonton wrappers and fold up however you like. Spray with a light mist of spray oil and air fry at 400 for 5-6 minutes. Optional to sprinkle to tops with zero calorie confectioners sugar. After getting oats all over the counter I said screw it and didn’t even try to not make a bigger mess. 🤣 My husband thought this recipe was a winner and wants me to prep these again. But that just means I have to share them. 😜 The recipe: 2 cups quick oats 4 tbsp zero calorie brown sugar (I used Swerve) 4 tsp ground cinnamon 4 (5.3oz) light n fit zero sugar vanilla yogurt 1/2 cup sugar free maple syrup 2 cups cashew milk 1) In each of four eight ounce jars or containers, place 1/2 cup of quick oats, 1 tbsp of brown sugar, and 1 tsp of cinnamon. 2) Stir to combine. 3) Add one 5.3oz container of yogurt to each jar, then top each with 2 tbsp of sugar free maple syrup and 1/2 cup of cashew milk. 4) Tightly secure a lid on each jar, and shake to combine all ingredients. 5) Store jars in the refrigerator until ready to serve. 6) Add optional toppings as desired upon serving.
