One of the things people hate most is pride. It can be detected from afar, even in your facial expressions or tone of voice. Surprisingly, some highly qualified people have failed job interviews simply because they answered questions with an air of pride, displaying an "I know it all" attitude.

The moment you attempt to demonstrate that you know better than others, you become a direct threat to their ego. Consequently, they may go to great lengths to delete you from their environment, perceiving you as a potential saboteur, even if that's not your intention.

Regardless of your knowledge, communicate with humility, allowing people to discover your depth without flaunting it. Constantly striving to be right and prove others wrong can lead to difficulty thriving in various environments, including marriage. Most relationships have ended because the other person was ever right.

Be generous with words of courtesy like "please," "sorry," "may I," "kindly," and others. Fight pride at every turn, as it often shuts many doors. Remember, there's a distinction between boldness, self-esteem, and pride. I'll leave that as an assignment for you to explore further, or you can pay me to elaborate.

However, embracing humility doesn't equate to losing self-confidence and appearing timid. You can still radiate self-esteem, self-worth, and boldness while maintaining humility.
