The Lost Studio - Phil Cooper Freelance music producer/mixer based in Wiltshire. Specialise in organic sounding music - Folk, Rock
(2)

My passion for mixing/producing comes from being a songwriter for the best part of two decades. I have always been interested in the recorded form of music and how the different ingredients for a song are pieced together to create something more than the sum of it's parts. MIXING SETUP

I use Logic Pro X (with many fully licensed professional plugins) on an iMac running the latest version of Mac O

S. Two different sets of monitor spears and four different sets of headphones to make sure your mix sounds good whatever it's played through.

- I can mix from stems that have already been created.
- I can bring a portable studio to a practice room (see recording setup below)
- I can hire a studio on your behalf and use that.
- I can add backing vocals, bass, guitar and percussion as required. RECORDING SETUP

If you use a good sound-proofed practice studio, I can come to you and set up everything I need. On my portable recording setup I can record 32 tracks (16 simultaneously) which is usually to get a good base recording of live instruments before overdubbing things like vocals etc in my home booth, or another studio. Recording device = 2 x Zoom R16

Microphones:
1 x Neumann TLM103
2 x Neumann KM184
2 x SeElectronics SE1A
1 x SeElectronics R1 Ribbon
1 x Shure SM57
1 x Shure SM58
1 x Shure Beta 52
1 x Shure Beta 56A
3 x Shure PG56
