Jenny Beavan, OBE, is a renowned costume designer whose career spans over 40 years leaving an indelible mark on us with her fascinating designs for projects like “Mad Max: Fury Road,” “Cruella,” “Mrs. Harris Goes to Paris,” “The Nutcracker and the Four Realms,” “Sherlock Holmes,” “Sense and Sensibility,” to name a few. She came to prominence for her decade-long collaboration with John Bright on creating the costumes for Merchant Ivory Productions. She has won three Academy Awards, four BAFTA’s, two Emmys, an Olivier award, and numerous CDGAs.

The CDG Honors Eddie Marks
Eddie Marks was perhaps our industry’s greatest unsung collaborator of the past three decades. As president of Western Costume, Marks was an employer, mentor, unwavering supporter, and dear friend to many in the costume community. He was as invaluable to our members as the costumes he rented. As a testament to the power of collaboration and dedication, it is with great excitement that the Costume Designers Guild, Local 892, and the Motion Picture Costumers, Local 705, join forces to create an opportunity that inspires and empowers aspiring costume designers through the creation of the Eddie Marks Costume Scholarship. The scholarship will be available starting January of 2025. We appreciate your patience and encourage you to mark your calendar for this important date.
