Although MDW24 finished, we continued our tour, since it was inhumanly possible to cover everything in 7 days, and we really don’t want you to miss.

presented ‘Time Traveler’, an exhibition aimed at exploring the complex story of design and its evolution over the years in which we discovered exceptional carpets commissioned by Nilufar Gallery from different renowned designers and artists to make the right conversations for their installations and triggering something completely new, charming and beautiful!
We also visited in which they offer their own carpets and a beautiful experience at showroom.

Carpets at CASSINA, B&B ITALIA, ROCHEBOBOIS, MOLTENI & C, GALLOTTI & RADICE and MISSONI

Our Milanese Design Journey came to a close with a visit to the Durini Design District, where we discovered more carpets at furniture brands:


Whether designed in-house or in collaboration with an independent design studio, their Carpets complement the furniture pieces and help create a cohesive and coordinated look in a room, making it visually appealing and harmonious.

Carpets at DIMORE GALLERY, CORSO COMO 10, ALTAI GALLERY and MOOOI

During MDW24, architecture and design studio transformed its gallery into “an enchanted realm” filled with flickering lights, iconic mid-century collectible pieces and contemporary creations including outlandish carpets surrounded by black drapes and captivating music.
Discover the wonderful Panton Lounge presented by .global and Verner Panton Design AG at including reedition in collaboration with who ranks among the most prominent and innovative designers of the 20th century.
Last but not least we also visited , renowned for their collections of antique primitive nomadic textile art and contemporary wild silk rugs, and stupendous showroom which offers an eclectic ‘print on demand’ rug collection with an extensive range of unique designs.

Carpets at ALCOVA, ROSSANA ORLANDI and NILUFAR
We visited .milano exhibition at the charming Villa Borsani in Varedo , a Modernist architectural masterpiece completed in 1945 by renowned designer
Other than the historical fireplace, we were welcomed at the villa’s entrance by the beautiful carpets designed by with .

Back to Milan center, we continued our visit to art gallery, one of the most anticipated events of Milan Design Week, and we delved into its labyrinth exhibition spaces with a variety of exquisite installations and we made many beautiful carpets discoveries.

Finally we visited the exquisite exhibition at via della Spiga ‘Time Traveler’.

CARPETS at L’Appartamento by

Explore the elegant 1930s Milanese apartment and the carpets (one of the best events we saw at mdw24), designed by six prestigious international interior design firms: , , , , .feldman.design , and .

Each of them designed one of the rooms using exclusively Artemest furniture, lighting, décor, art and (which helped contributes to the narrative of their project) by some of the finest Italian artisans, brands, and artists.

Introducing ELENA SALMISTRARO DESIGN STUDIO
Italian product designer and artist, lives and works in Milan. Together with architect Angelo Stoli, she founded her studio in 2009, working on projects ranging from architecture to design, from art to fashion, from illustration to visual arts in general.
Her eclectic, joyful and imaginative creations are the result of the union between art and serial production design, and her language is one very personal, authorial, characterised by the use of tridimensional texture and vivid colours full of energy.
