OKSOUNDZ MUSIC FACTORY is an independent record label that was formed in 2005, in London, U.K by a young talented man that had a driven force in setting up a music company that will have a motive to positively touch the lives of people in various ways by providing a high quality product and services and by also investing in the growth of building up a career for the youths and in the lives of people that sees achievement as an objective. OKSOUNDZ MUSIC FACTORY can be seen as a talented, creative- art organization that wears an entertainment outfit in today’s corporate world of a new music industrial revolution. The company is made up of professionals with the power and knowledge gained to produce and provide good products and services to the benefits of the society in which we operate. As we can be seen as a music business enterprise, there are various objective attracted to this company but one of our major objectives lies in the area of discovering talents and executing the projects they will need to progress in their various career, therefore, this music organization can be seen as a career development and life building entertainment firm. OUR RECORD LABEL & AUDIO RECORDING: As a record company, we are capable of handling different type of music recording projects and contracts from Artist recordings to Government and organizational projects. Our studio is built up with sophisticated and high quality equipment of today’s modern style of audio recording which is popularly known as digital Audio, and at the same time you can achieve both the digital and analogue feel as we have the materials that can record analogue instruments in real-time for bands willing to achieve digital/analogue recording. From Midi Programming to audio mixing and Mastering, We execute minor and major projects from recording Single tracks, Album projects; Commercial Jingles, Demos or Voice over’s for half done projects. We guarantee our customer’s maximum satisfaction as the company is known to deliver a high standard in the digital world of today’s quality music. Oksoundz Music Factory is in the position to offer Potential Artist or Organizations a recording contract deal. As one of our major objectives is to discover talents, we offer such talents a record deal by producing and building up a career for them in the entertainment industry at large. Our management provides a contract that binds both the record label and the Artist or organization together. Unlike other major labels that concentrates more on how they can just make quick money on such talented artist, our company takes out more time to concentrate on building and crafting out the artist into the real world of the entertainment industry with much discipline and still maintaining a sense of profit orientation. B) ARTIST & REPERTOIRE: Scouting, discovering, and building up of talents through, to the appropriate channel is one of the major services we provide. Talents in the entertainment world can be identified as materials and images that can be projected with the assurance that such talent is really and truly born to make something from their God gifted abilities. Under this department we have an independent advice centre where Artist or record companies can seek for advice or assistance in areas of identifying the strength of an artist and its product or help in building up a direction of which such artist can utilize. Oksoundz Music Factory is capable of identifying; monitoring and ensuring that such talented, recording artist are well groomed to face the music industry today. c) BRANDING AND MARKETING: In every organization or individual, maybe private companies, government agencies or Artist, branding is an essential step that can’t be neglected, as it is seen as the identity of that organization or individual at any given point in time, be it now or in the future. A typical saying goes thus ‘’first impression lasts longer’’. Branding is the image of any organization or art-organization that has a product or service to offer. A brand identity will create a lasting impression in the minds of the patrons. Branding is always attached to marketing simply because customers will have to identify exactly the kind of brand they want to buy. F) MUSIC PUBLISHING: In most recent years the Nigerian music industry has been identified as a week teeth in the areas of MUSIC PUBLISHING.As an independent record label and music publishing company, we identify that songwriters and composers receive payments when their compositions are used commercially. Through an agreement called a publishing contract, a songwriter or composer “assigns” the copyright of their composition to our publishing company and in return the company licenses compositions, help monitor where compositions are used, collects royalties and distributes them to the composers. We secure commissions for music and promote existing compositions to recording labels or artist, film and television.
