On the evening of May 22, seniors, friends and family gathered in the large auditorium for Everett’s annual Senior Awards Night. Every year the seniors are recognized for their outstanding achievements throughout their high school career. Awards and recognition for this event include, but are not limited to: Valedictorian, Salutatorian, Academic Top 10, Department Awards, local scholarship winners, and much more. Congratulations to all the seniors! Go Vikings! 🎉

The Lansing School District celebrated the wonderful achievements of its Latino graduating seniors during the annual Latino Recognition Ceremony. Dressed in cap and gown, more than one hundred Latino students from Lansing walked across the stage at Everett High School Tuesday, May 9th. The night included special guests, scholarship awards and honoring the student’s families and everyone who played a significant role in their educational journey. Felicidades to all the Latino graduates of 2023! ✨

Presentation of Roses is a truly unique annual event for Seniors at Everett High School. It was held on Wednesday, May 3rd at the South Church of Nazarene. The event offered recognition, and a few tears, to all those who have helped support the Seniors on their path to graduation by receiving a rose. Congratulations to all the recipients! 🌹

Lansing Mayor Andy Schor delivered his annual State of the City address at Lansing Everett High School on Tuesday, March 14th. Leading into the address were performances by the Everett Jazz Band, Senior Dance Company, Theater Guild and Choir. Highlights from Schor's speech included a series of achievements and new plans for Lansing.

Congratulations to Eric Cooper on signing with Great Lakes Christian College for soccer!

Eric was joined by friends, coaches, and his future coach for his signing. Cooper will join the program in the fall of 2023.

"I've been training with them a couple of times now," Cooper said.
"When they started inviting me to practices I was like, yeah, I think I figured it out."

Vikings showed toughness throughout their game on Jan. 26, against the Grand Ledge Comets. Although the Comets won, Vikings didn't go down without a fight in the rebounding battle.

The Vikings now hit the road for two games next week. They play at Waverly, Jan. 31, at 7 p.m, then Okemos, Feb. 3, at 7 p.m. They'll continue on the road at East Lansing, Feb. 7, at 7 p.m.

The Everett Dance Program showed off their moves during their Fall Showcase on Friday, December 9th. At the Showcase, audience members were treated to a combination of dance routines including solos from various members, to a large dance finale from all four dance classes. Great performances, dancers! 👏

It's Everett's last home game of the season which means it's Senior Night for football players, cheerleaders and the marching band. Vikings go up against the Reeths-Puffer Rockets. Kickoff for tonight's game starts at 6pm.

Everett High School knows how to come together and celebrate Viking Pride! Dancers, the Marching Band and even Teachers brought the energy while performing at the Homecoming Pep Rally! 🎉

No one hypes up the school for Game Day better than the Everett Marching Band during their traditional marching of the halls! Vikings play their second home game tonight against Eastern. Game starts at 5pm at Everett's Archie Ross Memorial Stadium.

Students from the Everett Dance Program took to the stage on May 27th for their annual Spring Showcase. For the Showcase, dancers from all four high school dance classes brought a full array of performances to share with their families, friends, and the community. Wonderful job, dancers! 👏

The 50th anniversary celebration of the Everett Dance Program took place this weekend, alongside the grand opening of the fully renovated large auditorium. In honor of the dance program, Lansing School District produced this documentary looking at the past, present and future of dance education at Everett. Dance alumni from the ‘70s through today are featured. If you can’t sit down and watch this feel-good movie right now, it’s definitely worth a bookmark. Congratulations, Everett Dance Co!

The Everett Marching Band took home the award for Best Illuminated Small Band at the 2021 Silver Bells in the City parade. The award is a $1,000 prize sponsored by Marshall Music and Board of Water and Light. Congratulations, Vikings!
