Michael had a vision to start his own company, as he’s been working for more than 20 years in the music biz. He started as a Dj and after a couple of years he became a producer with some vinyl releases. While working as a sales man in a big music dirstribution company (Neuton) he also started to manage the “Platzhirsch Booking” agency where he took care about artists like Dominik Eulberg, Tobias B
ecker, Mark Broom, Alex Cortex and many more. After the insolvency of Neuton he decided to stay in the music business with starting his own label (Movida Records) and finally his own little booking agency – so here it is..Movida Booking ! He manages mostly good friends and also some well-known artists as you can see on the artist roster. Michael loves to support young & fresh labels (with some label showcases) and also less famous artists where he thinks they deserve the chance to play more in clubs or events. With his background for house and techno music he really has a sixth sense for good artists, so he only chooses those guys for his agency where he’s absolutely convinced of. “Quality” is the word for each of his artists ! With the “visuals” artists he tries to close that big circle for a completly good event. The “Cinemata” crew, for example won some great prices in competitions which were held among worldwide artists and they’ve won the 1st price in 2008 as the world best newcomer for visuals, 3-D animations and more !
