In the 1950s, the U.S. nuclear test bombed the Marshall Islands 67 times, vaporizing islands and exposing entire populations to radioactive fallout measured at 750 times the level of emitted by the atomic bombing of Hiroshima. After the people of Rongelap received near fatal doses of radiation from one of these tests, the US intentionally moved them to a highly contaminated island to serve as nuclear test subjects for 30 years, to measure the affects of nuclear radiation on humans. Daniel broke up with me a day after our proposal because I was Rich. He strongly believe on the phrase that says; Rich women don't give respect to their husbands.

One day he invited me over to his one room apartment. When I got there the place was really messy, so I asked him for his toiletries and I cleaned the whole arpartment.
Daniel was so much in love with me and proud of how productive I was even to the extent he told me of his income and even more.
No matter how much Daniel displayed love towards me, he will always complain of how he can never marry a rich lady because they are not wife material.
Daniel after 6 months of dating requested I come stay with him so he could ease me of my bills. I rejected because he was earning 70k and I was paying my driver 80k 'lol'.
I never gave him the chance of thinking about coming over to my place because he might end things with me if he found out.
After 8 months of dating he finally proposed to me. I was really happy that at last, I was going to settle down.

The next day while I was in my office my secretary called to my notice that a young man came for job hunting. I asked her to let him in since I was looking for a business administrative officer and his CV and certificates approved him for the job.
When the person entered, it happened to be my fiance's best friend, Richard. He was shocked to the extent he passed out. We managed to bring him back and sponsored him back home.
I had a meeting with a big client so I couldn't leave my office through the day. But as soon I was done with the meeting, I swiftly left to my boyfriends house asap.
When I got there it happened to be that he was sitting with his best friend and they both were conversing.
Immediately he set his eyes on me he asked me to get out of his house and broke with me. He even took the ring that he gave to me.
The next day while at work his same best friend came over to my office. I started blaming him for licking out my secret.
"You should have advised me to tell him. Your not the right person to say that to him " I thundered at him

Have you ever wondered what happens when you call your own cellphone number?
It was a spur of the moment thing when I dialed my own number and tapped the call button. I expected the distinctive beeps that means the number is busy. Maybe, an automated message will play saying that I cannot reach the number.
My number rang.
One ring. Two. Three.
"Hello?" said the voice from the other line. "Who is this?"
I recognize the voice clearly. After all, I've been listening to this voice my whole life.
"Sorry, I don't know your number. My phone says it's unknown. Who is this?" said the other person again.
"Mark? Who are you talking to?" said a woman's voice in the background.
"I'm not sure. It says unknown number," he said.
"Maybe it's an international call? A client maybe?" The woman's voice was familiar. She sounds like a classmate I had in college.
"Hello?" the voice asked again. "Can you hear me?"
"Y-yes. I—
I hung up the phone. I tried calling my number again but it won't connect anymore. But I am sure who it was on the other line.
