I'm excited to share my thoughts! 🎶 Here's what I felt about MANTRA's "PAHELI" music video.

In contrast to the typical band dynamics we frequently witness in the music industry, the music video for MANTRA's "PAHELI" is a welcome change. Instead of adhering to the tried-and-true format of the lead singer taking centre stage with a guitar solo and the rest of the band playing a supporting role, "PAHELI" adopts an honest and admirable strategy.

The band's purpose behind the song is to let each member to express themselves musically, and this is made abundantly obvious in the video as each member is given the chance to shine and perform their solo. The end product is a magnificent symphony made up of a harmonious and enthralling combination of many musical storylines being shared by each member at mesmerizing locations.

In the song "PAHELI," which translates to "Mystery," every vocal thrill and musical note weaves together to immerse us in the narrative of a long-forgotten love story, perfectly capturing its essence. One might ask, "How is that possible?" Well, when you ask a musician to share their tale, they make their notes and speak it with wholehearted passion. And each member has done that in this song.
This approach not only adds depth to the song but also allows the audience to connect with the band on a more personal level, as we get to see their individual musical journeys unfold.

Bidhan Daju may have had a limited role in this song, but my goodness, he looked fantastic, didn't he?

The song "PAHELI" by MANTRA is proof of the group's dedication to artistic expression and willingness to deviate from convention. It serves as a reminder that, on occasion, the genuine beauty of music rests in the collective effort of all of the band members, who each contribute their unique piece of the puzzle to produce something truly spectacular 'PAHELI'.

Minor technical observations -
The drums and rhythm sounded tight and nice.
There were certainly some strong aspects to the visuals, such as the cool locations, good-looking model, and occasional impressive use of lenses and lighting.
The dominant visual theme revolved around shades of teal and green. The girl perched on the rock displayed a lovely skin tone that harmonized beautifully with the contrast provided by her attire and the backdrop of the sea, rocks, and water.

I did notice some areas where the bass tones appeared to be a touch overpowering in certain sections. Additionally, there seemed to be an issue with the frequency balance that occasionally overshadowed the brilliance of the lead guitar, keys, and vocals.
I want to emphasize that these observations are just my personal take on the overall music video, and I mean no offense by sharing them.

And to wrap up, I'd like to highlight that MANTRA continues to resonate with audiences, and we have immense respect for their long-standing contribution to the Nepali Rock Music Industry. Keep on rocking!
