FORCED EVICTIONS IN LAGOS

Over the years Lagos State government’s policy of forced evictions and demolitions disproportionately targets the poorest residents of Lagos.

DON’T GET ELECTED TO GET US EVICTED is a campaign with the aim of halting attacks on poor communities who are being punished for the Lagos state’s urban planning failures. Our goal is to deliberately engage the political parties and the electorate during the 2019 election period, by making the subject of EVICTION IN LAGOS a campaign issue to be addressed.
