Jordan is the founder of Burnside Books, the co-founder of the Burnside Writers Collective, and the co-author of "Besides the Bible: 100 Books That Have, Should, or Will Create Christian Culture". He writes a television column for the Tucson Weekly, and has worked as a developmental editor on a number of projects, including Donald Miller’s NY Times bestseller A Million Miles in a Thousand Years and The Cure. Years ago, Jordan served as a Counterintelligence Agent in the US Army. He was born and raised in Portland, Oregon, and currently lives in Phoenix, Arizona, with his wife and daughter. Dan is the co-author of "Besides the Bible: 100 Books That Have, Should, or Will Create Christian Culture". He has also served as the online editor for the Tucson Weekly and Inside Tucson Business. Dan’s work has appeared in more publications and on more websites than he’s able to count/remember, from FoxNews.com and Relevant Magazine to the Phoenix New Times and Gawker Media’s former music blog, Idolator. He has edited several books, and has worked providing marketing services to authors. Before settling into writing and editing, he had over thirty jobs providing varying levels of shame and misery. He frequently rides the city bus, manages an amateur soccer team (currently on hiatus), and is a proud graduate of Oregon State University. Robert Ham - Copy Editor
Robert Ham has worked with words for the past 18 years, in a variety of capacities. Currently, he writes about arts and culture for The Oregonian, Christianity Today, Willamette Week, and Spinner, as well as covering news stories for Neighborhood Notes. If that weren't enough, he provides copyediting services for The Big Takeover magazine and proofreads the educational materials for OnlineEd. In the past, he has written for many a print and online venture, including Relevant, Paste, FoxNews.com, Down Beat, and Performer, and he has held positions as a news writer for KAST Radio in Astoria, Oregon, web writer for Mercy Corps, and marketing/PR writer for CharityUSA. He lives in a surprisingly lovely basement apartment in the St. Johns neighborhood of Portland, Oregon.
