A synopsis from Syed Ali uncle father’s records.

Hyderabad's VII Nizam Mir Osman Ali Khan decided to build a University in 1917 - Hyderabad he assigned the task to his Ministers Maharaja Kishen Prasad, Sir Akbar Hydri, Ali Nawaz Jung, Zain Yar Jung , Kazim Yar Jung, Mohammed Mahmood Ali DG Police Hyderabad & others to developed the plan.

The Nizam offered to build the University at his king Koti Palace. Sir Akbar Hydri advised and convinced the Nizam to build it at the location with many acres of open land. Subsequently a committee was formed / sent on a world tour to visit all the famous Universities of that time like Al-Azhar in Egypt, Cambridge , Oxford in England to survey and obtain details.

Nawab Ali Nawaz Jung was a mathematical genius of his time and finest Civil Engineer. Architectutal of the main Arts college building started with designing the bottom floor to Hindu Archtiture and Upper was built as a Muslim Archtecture.

The Emblem was cast in gunmetal placed at the Arts College on solid red Rock that was brought from the Mine Query about 7 miles away from the location. In order to bring the stone a Small Patry Railway line was constructed and dismantled later. The same stones were used in the building of the entire arts college building. Cast Iron railing on the second floor and all this work was managed, supplied & installed by Janab Syed Abbas Ali Saheb, Proprietor of Rahmania Machineries Factory. — with Syed Ali.
