Why BUSHI PODCAST?

Bushi is a slang term used in many coloured communities to describe our culture all over Johannesburg

Bushi podcast was built with the idea of creating employment, encouraging the youth to follow their dreams, become a global sensation, change the narrative of how the “coloured” culture is views.

Based on our own experiences we have all faced so sort of difficulty excelling in our own right and had to work a bit harder to prove that we are not just what most has believed about the culture thus we decide as the casts and Justin Jacobs the founder of Bushi that we want to show the positive side of our culture and share it with the rest of the world too.

Our past does not define us but instead our mindset will determine a future with broken general struggles we are forced to face daily.

We want our next generation to not be demotivated and suppressed by the violence and substance abuse they witness daily but to keep their eyes on the price to reach for greater heights🙏
