BULDOS in Barbaza

"Buldos" a method commonly used to catch small fish is known as netting. This involves using nets, often of varying sizes and designs, to capture fish by enclosing them within the mesh as they swim. Buldos can be done from shore. It's a widespread technique due to its effectiveness in catching fish in bulk, particularly smaller species.

This type of fishing method is particularly used and seen in Barangay Jinalinan, Barbaza as they take care of those small fishes to grow big and thrive to sell in the market.

IN PHOTOS: Punong Barangay Rosalie Napat of Cubay Libertad received a fund transfer check worth Php500,000 charged under the 20% National Tax Allocation (NTA) for the calendar year 2024, today at Sumakwel Hall. According to PB Napat, this financial assistance is earmarked for the concreting of their barangay road.

“Hindi ron sanda magsakripisyo it agi sa dalan nga lubak-lubak kung ma semento ron”, she stated. She also expressed relief that the residents will no longer have to endure the difficulties of traversing a bumpy road once it is paved.

The improved road is also expected to benefit the local farming community by facilitating the smooth transfer of their agricultural produce. Moreover, it will enhance access to Kinyang Falls, a tourist spot in the area, which has the potential to boost their local tourism and economic activity.
