Unlawful wounding charge, Kingaroy

Police charged a 25-year-old Kingaroy man with unlawful wounding on Monday, April 23, in relation to an incident in February.
The extensive investigation was headed by Acting Detective Inspector Brian Collins and Forensic Crime Co-ordinator Gary Whitlock, working closely with the Kingaroy Criminal Investigation Branch and local officers.
Police will allege the man stabbed a 42-year-old Kingaroy man in the neck at an Alford Street address just before 12.30am on February 18.
The 25-year-old Kingaroy man will appear in the Murgon Magistrates Court today, April 24 on one count of unlawful wounding, domestic violence offence.
Kingaroy Police wish to thank the Kingaroy Community for their support and assistance with this investigation.

Police are investigating following a wounding incident in Kingaroy overnight, February 18.
Emergency services were called to the Alford Street property just before 12.30am following reports a man had sustained a laceration to his neck.
Upon arrival, a 42-year-old Kingaroy man was located with critical injuries.
He was transported to Kingaroy Hospital and has since been airlifted to Brisbane.
It is understood another man, not known to the 42-year-old, left the scene prior to police arrival.
Police are appealing to anyone who may have seen anything suspicious around the time of the incident, or may have relevant dashcam/CCTV footage, to come forward.
Investigations are continuing.
