I’ve been a patron of Velindre for over 10 years and have completed five previous fundraising treks. When I say ‘leading’…I’m always at the back.
To say this one will be special is an understatement. It’s always an amazing experience; fun, interesting, moving and inspiring, but this time I can add in the fact that I literally owe Velindre my life.
It’s thanks to the skill of my doctors, Velindre and the wonderful NHS, that I’m able to do this. I’m feeling great and determined to keep raising as much money as I can, for as long as I can.
