Years in the making, Liber Lvcifer II: Mahapralaya is for sure our most difficult-to-be-made album to date and will get unleashed soon on the filthy cosmic plane.
Hymnic yet progressive, exploring the concept of Lucifer's manifestations through religions once more, through real occult practice and experience.
Coming from exactly the same source as Liber Lvcifer I but releasing a totally different expression of it.
After adversity and hardships, we are definitely proud to share it with all of you who are willing to experience a spiritual Black Metal manifestation of the void.
We stared inwards once more, ignoring any outside influences, caring only for reflection, burning totally out everyone involved in it, and getting closer and closer to the source of all.

Appearing like a bolt from the blue in 2016 via W.T.C., ADAESTUO's debut EP, Tacent Semitae, was a startling and profound introduction to this otherwise-unknown band. ADAESTUO was formed as a covenant between three wandering souls at the unhallowed crossroads where the darkest elements of ambient, black metal, and spiritual praxis conjoin. Being a series of audial sigils cast by VJS and P.E.Packain and led in evocation by Hekte Zaren, with Tacent Semitae did ADAESTUO transcend the modern homogeny found among the lower caste of musical initiates. Amazingly, the pan-continental trio eclipsed that feat with a towering full-length monument titled Krew Za Krew. Released by W.T.C. in 2018, Krew Za Krew reaped widespread acclaim and positioned themselves as purveyors of a very special kind of black metal by going BLACKER.

In the cursed year of 2020 came another full-length monument from ADAESTUO bearing the title Manalan virrat, and now they return to the auspices of W.T.C. with a swift-yet-satisfying mini-album presciently titled Purge of the Night Cloak. Indeed, that title forms a sensational foundation for the seared sort of frequencies ADAESTUO are exploring here: a casting-off of the old, a revilement of the new, vulgar shapes made beautiful and vice versa. Woven together like one continuous fever dream, the four tracks comprising this 23-minute mini-album assault the listener with a near-overload of information, only to strip it bare, hauntingly and uncomfortably so, building it back up into a hydra-headed abomination from both above and below. Put into more concrete terms, here ADAESTUO fuse classics-minded mystical black metal with dark soundtrack scores, shimmering obsidian racing through the night sky before a (dark) meeting with literally-otherworldly walls of choral atmosphere. It's something of a "blink and you'll miss it" experience, or one too frightening(ly expansive) to open one's eyes to...

More massive than most bands' regular "albums," ADAESTUO make most black metal look conservative and small with their Purge of the Night Cloak.

In regard to the re-issues, the Band states:

In the early 90s, a special kind of energy was at work. Back at Hörnix, we may have captured a whiff of that incredibly dense atmosphere, and are honoured to present a small piece of Black Metal history - our testimony to the madness raging 3 decades ago.

We have prepared these items for years, meticulously collected and assembled the artwork from original photos, books, snippets, drawings, negatives, postcards and rub-letters. Everything was rebuilt from scratch and comes from the same original bits and pieces as used back in the 90s. Nothing was cheaply scanned from old releases, like often the case with such old works. Some flaws were corrected, with the aim to retain and surpass the first pressings.
We bow our head and humbly share our memories of those glorious reckless days, when our youthful spirit was feeding the flame to burn the world to ashes.

Sotherion - Schwarmgeist - Demo-Tape Out Now!

W.T.C. PRODUCTIONS is proud to present the debut demo of SOTHERION, Schwarmgeist.

Spawned by the mind of infamous composer BST (Aosoth, The Order of Apollyon) in total isolation, in the midst of the first lockdown of 2020, SOTHERION is a one-man project paying homage to the late ‘80s and early ‘90s second wave of black metal. Inspired by disgust for the modern world and its deification of mediocrity and glorification of rats, and motivated by a search for old ways of recording razor-sharp guitars and low-pulsing kick drums, the debut demo Schwarmgeist came to be in a heartbeat, acting as a beacon for what was next to come.

A contract was made with W.T.C. PRODUCTIONS, and work began shortly after within the depths of the infamous BST Studio to sculpt and breathe the stench of death into a humble monument to the old scene, resulting in a full-length record entitled Vermine. Across the continual curse of the year 2022, SOTHERION displays its full powers – and full vision – between Schwarmgeist and Vermine. BST’s renown certainly precedes him, but SOTHERION is surely his most personal work yet: French black metal shall be renewed by consecrating its blood pact with the past.

With no small amount of shock and awe, W.T.C. unleashes Schwarmgeist without warning, preparing the masses for the inevitable infection of Vermine. This is no more and no less than what the modern world deserves!

Today, we proudly announce March 24 as the official release date for Chaos Invocation’s fourth full length album, Devil, Stone & Man. Formed in 2004 and releasing three increasingly celebrated full-lengths via W.T.C., CHAOS INVOCATION have steadily become a pillar of Germany's long-potent black metal underground. Their last album, 2018's Reaping Season, Bloodshed Beyond, was an iron-fisted smash through more dynamic corridors, with their sinuous and serpentine black metal taking on a more heightened (but no less muscular) melodic aspect. As the world has fully turned to s**t, CHAOS INVOCATION thus cover that iron fist with a grime unfathomably dark and dreadful. Indeed, Devil, Stone & Man is the record deserving of these times - or rather, vice versa.

In regard to the release, the Band comments:

Over the past 25 years, SIA has been an album we deemed slightly problematic. But the more time has passed, the more we made peace and identified with it, as work that was right at the time. After Apokalypse, this was the logical other extreme, a bombastic album, with keyboards as the defining element. Yet, this is just one side of the coin.

LP 2 features a version which has in parts surfaced here and there, sourcing from an old cassette. A year ago, PK found the original, superior quality CD-R, which we took home after the first few studiodays back in november 1997, for Silenius to rehearse and to see what should be overdubbed guitar-wise.
Unmixed, with random fader settings on the mixing desk, on the evening of the third recording day. Still, this old Hörnix-Studio CD-R turned out as a valid historic document 25 years later, and worth to be released. With a few surprises – like an unedited, long ending part of a song with 2 more riffs, missing on the finished album.

Side C and D, pressed in the order of original recording, shows the nucleus and the essence of Supreme Immortal Art and ABIGOR 1997. We approached recordings back then just as we did on the demos - still an immature and not „professionally trimmed“ band, everything done on the spur of the moment. Not elaborate and sophisticated, but rough and in retrospect, sloppy. But for us, it still was the magical years, full of „that energy“, although the dawning of a golden period´s end. Ravel in nostalgia, for this is a genuine artefact of a sunken era!
