On the evening of January 22, featured event 2025 National Yangge Performance & Celebrate the Chinese New Year in Yulin was launched.
The event focuses on “Intangible cultural heritage of Shaanxi during the Chinese New Year”. Adopting "municipal main venue + sub-venues in various counties and urban areas", various activities will be intensively held from January 22 to February 12. The main venue in the central urban area of Yulin has planned over 10 activities, covering folk customs, Chinese New Year goods, ice and snow activities, and fireworks. The sub-venues in the counties and other districts will also arrange more than 120 activities.

This year, the event "Celebrate the Chinese New Year in Yulin" creates a vital atmosphere. The activities will be held from January 22nd to February 12th. Folk activities such as the National Yangge Dance Performance, the Chinese New Year Lantern Festival, the Traditional Opera Performance, and the Handwritten Spring Couplets Activity are wonderful. The Intangible Cultural Heritage Grand Fair on the Old Street of the Ancient City and the Intangible Cultural Heritage and China Chic Carnival will showcase high-quality goods. Ice and snow activities such as skiing and featured ice sculptures are quite entertaining. On the Chinese New Year's Eve and the Lantern Festival, there will be fireworks and drone shows, which will create a strong festive atmosphere.

Hongshi Gorge in Yulin
The marks left by chisels and axes, together with the numerous calligraphic inscriptions, cover the mountainside.
