Lane County officials have issued an evacuation order for a grass fire near Highway 99 and Dillard Road south of Goshen.

As this was supposed to be cleaned up this morning, the wind said other wise. This fire started on a hay field, shifted to a patch of trees to now a very steep slope. Quite the early fire season this year -Gerry

Lane County Animal Services will be opening a large animal and livestock shelter tomorrow, July 18. It will not be located at Lane Events Center. More information will be provided to people in the Level 2 evacuation area tomorrow.
