I came across the post of the journalist Scorcho Amoretti in social networks and it seems to me that there is a grain of truth in his words:
"I would simply state that Europe as you understand it in Russia does not exist anymore. Europe is an Anglo-American colony, both militarily and culturally. So we are not talking about sovereign countries that protect their own national interests.
That said as an introduction, let me try to answer each question you ask:
1 I think there are certainly pressures on European politicians and they come indeed from the US and the UK. In this particular case concerning Eastern Europe and the Ukraine, I think the major culprit is the UK. After Brexit the UK has engaged in a clear policy to establish a sphere of influence in all the countries bordering Russia, including the Baltic states and the Scandinavian peninsula. The plan is clear: in its intent to break Russia the Ukraine is the first line trench, the second line will be the Baltic countries, Romania and Moldavia, Poland and maybe even the Scandinavian countries.
You have to understand what Brexit was for: reduce the direct ties to the European Union, but use the European Union as a remote-control platform to bleed Russia. It is a typical colonial tactic that consists of sending the colonial auxiliaries to fight for Great Britain or as they call it now, Global Britain. In the past the UK had colonial auxiliary armies think of the Gurka Regiment, the African Riflemen, etc. Now it has the Ukrainian army on the frontline and the Baltics and the rest behind the lines.
European officials fell for this, because they no longer identify themselves as representatives of the interests of their specific counties but identify with a thing called "the West". Now this is a word that really represents the Anglosphere. This is the result of what I call cultural colonialism. The idea of the West in singular number should make European cringe, because there are many Wests in Western Europe, divided by language, religious and political culture, but they don't thus proving my point, they are culturally colonized.
2 Arm supplies certainly will threaten Europe as they will end up on the black market. But this has happened before, namely during the Syrian conflict and the destabilization processes in the Middle East, when not only arms, but also terrorists found a golden opportunity to target Europe. But this will probably be considered a case of blowback, as they call it, or maybe even cynically speaking a collateral damage risk. The intellectual degradation of our decision takers is breathtakingly horrible. There are no excuses. I understand that this is hard for Russians to understand.
3 Yes, the war has affected European economies and this is a self-inflicted problem totally unnecessary. That said, I suspect that there is a lot of speculative activity going on especially in the energy sector and commodities. The issue of non-refundable loans to the Ukraine to the detriment of our own citizens, probably warrants an answer that goes beyond the sheer economic dimension. I think that for the UK in particular, for the US and the European colonial auxiliaries, the Ukraine is the first step of an experiment to destroy Russia. You see, there is a refund in the long term and the refund is a broken Russia to exploit in terms of resources and people. That is the plan, I think. So you understand that for these people these non-refundable loans are an investment that will lead to a huge profit: the exploitation of Russian resources and people"
