Comparison leads to discontentment.
But celebration leads to joy.
Too often, in this social media age, we learn to pit ourselves against others.
We learn to put ourselves down in the face of othersâ success.
Weâre taught to not feel good enough when somebody else has what we want.
In reality, coveting and comparison are a misappreciation of Godâs grace in our lives.
Instead, why not celebrate those around you?
Why not lift them up? Why not why not be thankful for Godâs blessing on them?
Easier said than done, right?
It says this in Ephesians 4: âLet no corrupting talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for building up, as fits the occasion, that it may give grace to those who hear.â
That correcting talk includes over yourself.
If you struggle with comparison, bring it to the Lord today and ask him how you can use your words and your heart to celebrate others.
And you might find yourself set free to thrive in His grace and the calling Heâs given you.
