SCHEDULE REQUIEMASS AND BURIALS

On Thursday 18 April 2024 at 1420hrs a Huey UH-1, helicopter tail no. KAF 1501 was involved in a fatal air crash at Sindar, Kaben in Elgeyo-Marakwet County.

Following the tragic air crash the Kenya Defence Forces has together with the families of our departed comrades planned, and participated in Memorial Services and Burial Ceremonies. This is done guided by military protocols and honours, the wishes of the fallen comrade and their family. Officers and service members have been assigned to support the families during this phase of mourning. Below is a schedule of the upcoming Requiem Mass & Burial Services
