"We all have a journey through life that is shaped and molded by our environment and often times it becomes easy to fall into step with the direction of the crowd. Familiarity becomes habit and some follow blindly whatever new distraction is in style. We compare lives to one another subconsciously as we scroll our social media news feeds.

We hear the lies of this world as they whisper to our soul. "You're not good enough, nobody cares, you have nothing to offer and you deserve to die alone". Isolation can become solitude and loneliness can be replaced with inner-peace if we allow death of the pride and ego that have woven themselves into the fabric of our identity. We must uproot the falsehoods and sew new seeds that flourish when watered with truth as they thrive in the light; growing with us as each new perspective is gained.

We learn in the flames of our own failure and as our burns heal, we rise from the ashes knowing more about who we are, who we are not and often times who others are and who they are not. Masks tend to burn away when we are in the crucible, there is no time to be anything other than real when faced with transformational suffering.

The trials we face stretch our understanding of what we are capable of and without the pressure many of us would have stayed where it was lukewarm and comfortable. With enough time and enough pressure, we are pushed into becoming a diamond in the rough. The furnace continues to boil away our impurities, the dross is sifted and worthless slag gives way to Gold.

The journey starts to rise in value when we learn to walk by faith and not by sight, we begin transforming adversity into a forge to burn away anything that prevents us from rising to become the highest divine version of ourselves. Betrayal becomes the hammer and our heart is clamped to the anvil as each blow crashes down to shape a new perspective of our reality.

When the cycle has played out and our faith remains strong, we are quenched in the spirit of living water. Worry comes a lot less as you know that no amount of it will add another moment to our life. We now know WHY we should rejoice in our suffering because we've witnessed firsthand the transformational power of our faith as we endure each trial only to become stronger and more self aware.

By becoming quick to listen and slow to speak we are angry less and less because we know there is nothing tempting us that is not common to all, we are united by our temptations. Walking in that faith we know that God is faithFUL and does not allow us to be tempted beyond what we are able to handle so when those moments come we are watchful for the escape that he will always provide if we have the eyes to see.

By seeking we have found, by knocking the door was opened and by asking we have received ; Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Gentleness and Faithfulness. These are the fruits which grow when the spirit plants the seeds. "
