You see, these peculiar crater-covered critters are actually the vanguard of an alien army from the moon - a scouting party sent ahead to study Earth’s defenses before the full-scale attack begins. Their fuzzy antennae and spindly legs belie their true purpose as highly-sophisticated stellar soldiers.
While appearing no bigger than ants scurrying across the lunar landscape, these “moon bugs” are equipped with advanced miniaturized tech that allows them to communicate across vast distances and rapidly share reconnaissance with their home world’s military complex.
