Storms in the area now through late tonight. Possible overnight event we’re looking at here. Moderate risk of ALL modes of severe weather; heavy rain, high winds, large hail, and even tornadoes cannot be ruled out. We have been seeing multiple tornado warnings in middle TN this afternoon already. The atmosphere is very unstable guys. PLEASE have a storm plan in place. Know where you will go in case of a tornado. Have a way to wake up if you are asleep and need to be woken up to take shelter.

First line dropped some heavy rain, hail in some spots, strong winds, and lightning!

Second line coming in over night.👀 Keeping an eye on everything until storms have exited the area!

There’s a couple different storm systems that will come in this evening.

1 is in our southeast counties right now that are Severe Thunderstorm Warned *no tornado watch or warning in place*.

2 is the main event that will come through a little later overnight. It is coming from our west and has had a history of severe warned storms and severe t-storm & tornado watches.

First round of storms should come through around 10pm, give or take an hour or so.. Second round should be overnight sround 2am give or take an hour or so..

Main concerns are heavy rain and strong winds with hail unlikely; a brief spin-up tornado cannot be ruled out. Damaging winds could cause tree damage and/or power outages.

Those west of I-65 are more likely to see strong to severe storms than the rest of us to the east.
