Sharing with you all our family's very first camping trip. 😊
After almost a year of planning, deciding, and buying our camping gears, we finally made it to River Ranch PH last January 2024. We couldn't have found a more perfect camping spot for us beginners.
As newbies, we looked for a campsite that was neither too near the city nor too far. Tanay, Rizal was just an hour or so away from us. There will be no network signal at some point in the Tanay area of Marcos Highway to Sta Ines Road, but Waze didn't disappoint us. We arrived safe and early at the campsite without having to cross a river on our first camping adventure.
The camping grounds was expansive with a clear and clean flowing river that can accommodate a lot of campers, but there was enough shower stalls, clean toilets, and washing areas. The staff and even the owners are very approachable and friendly as they took time to check on campers like us. It was a very welcome thing esp for us newbies.
The camp Wi-Fi didn't reach our camping spot, but that was what made this trip more memorable. Disconnected from our gadgets and the world outside, our family connected and bonded even more. Quality talks, quality activities. We communed with nature. We connected with our friendly neighbors (shout out to the ever-generous Senior Campers!).
We knew we found a new lifelong hobby, and we couldn't wait for the next camping trip, for new things to learn from camping.
If you see us around next time, please say hi! We'd love to make more camping friends. We hope you enjoy a slice of our camping trip!
