Moving to iMac but need donations.
After years of using PCs, it's time to move to Mac. I believe I will be more productive musically and find time to actually make music than sit and tinker with MS problems that are cropping up around windows 10 and beyond.

I'm needing 300 dollars maybe more, and if you love this music, donating is the same as buying it.

As the new album is being written, sometimes there are pitfalls and problems. It appears that I have limits and limits are a real blessing to have considering you can't always do what you want musically so you have to wing it.

From the last album Opposite end of the Poles, the song Afterglow needed a kick drum, so I used my mousepad as the sound, and the actual computer keyboard was the other percussion tapped with my hands. With the two played together from tapping with fingers and recording and sync the song was completed.

The next challenge is here as I need bongos but the bongos I found online, aren't what I want for a sample. So I have my guitar and the rest is up to my imagination, something will come from this.
Once this is done, I will have completed half of the new single.

As the market requires less of a demand for mixing and mastering engineers, it becomes harder for them to find work.
AI?
Case in point, this has been the most difficult year for me to date since I started working professionally for artists in 2014.
Each year it's becoming harder.
I don't see this lifting any time soon.
I know people in the industry who have actually left social media entirely.
As far as continuing to find work, that's out my knowledge, but without social media helping you, it's pretty much impossible to find clients without at least word of mouth.
I've mixed and mastered for many artists, and all of them are very happy with the results.

One of the most challenging works of music I've mixed to date. Status Oblique - Some Controlled Chaos - is mostly controlled noise put through a magnifying lens, and turned up to 10!
A post-punk, electronic, goth, industrial, shoegaze explosion of sound. Just the very thing we've been looking for on Transmission Nova since the start in 2021.
The album took 8 months to complete as each track was sent, one per month until completion.
