Reef tanks and cinematography have always been two of my passions, I recently decided to bring them together. I started this hobby back in '06 when I was a teenager. I kept reef tanks for about 3 years, then took a 4 year break. During my time off, I developed a passion for cinematography. I recently got back into the hobby, setting up a 40g mixed reef, and I'm very excited to combine both of my passions into one.

Was dreading it for the longest time but feeling good now that it’s done 💪 Definitely too much rock, but I’m planning an upgrade early next year so wanted to jam as much as I could in there to start seasoning it for the new build..

Always nice to finally glue the frags that have been getting a little too comfortable on the racks, was actually able eliminate 2 racks and almost cleared another!! 😂

Any guesses what tank I’m going with for my next build? 😈

Got this peace about a year ago as a “mummy eye chalice”… Soon after it was badly stung by torch and lost 75% of flesh. Put it in low light in sump for past 6 mo the and forgot about it… Took a look last night and was blown away!

The flesh that has grown over the old skeleton has a much more interesting pattern than before and color was never this good! This things looking more like a crayola meltdown to me! 😍 Never give up on your encrusters 👍
