The terrorist Israeli occupation, after half a year, is still insisting on entering Rafah, which is the last city that still contains most of the population of the Gaza Strip.

80% of the Gaza Strip is destroyed and suffers from continuous military invasions, the movement of the Israeli army, besieging hospitals, commit massacres, destroy and blow up residential neighborhoods. And besieging the population and starving them.

The terrorist occupation is committing these crimes in front of the world, and is trying to have more time to destroy the hopes of the displaced to return and kill them with hunger and disease, and make the world get used to what is happening in Gaza and reduce media coverage and solidarity with Palestine, in addition to causing more destruction and strengthening the presence of the Israeli terrorists in Gaza in preparation for stealing the land.

Be smarter than them, and do not leave us to be killed and forgotten. *April 15 is a day of global strike*.. No schools, no movement, no work, no electronic payment, no gas stations. Make more noise and disturb the peace of terrorist politicians in America and IsraHell.

In the picture, me after half a year of documenting the genocide and surviving it daily without being sure of surviving the next day, and I will not stop until this genocide ends and I sit in the middle of my city feeling safe while I help my people rebuild Gaza.

Dear World,

It is day 141 of this endless war on Gaza.

I reached to a point where I feel that every I am doing is worthless and useless.

I am not sure if this is how I really feel or is just all the rage inside my heavy heart.

I remember when I was in primary school when I used to write my diaries every single day and hide my notebook.

I used to hide my notebook fearing anyone would read my diaries.

I used to write how I feel, what makes me happy, and what makes me sad.

Today, I am sharing what I feel with more the +1M people.

Sharing my feelings, my insecurities, my fears and thoughts.

My heart is very weak, sometimes I hear it beating so fast.

Every time they bomb my heart beats fast.

This bomb may kill someone I love, or someone else’s family.

I never wanted fame, I only want my home back.

I always felt lonely, maybe because I am a drama queen cancer - but the nights and I never felt this lonely.

The sky and stars have been so beautiful in past couple of days, but it has been so cold.

I miss my favorite warm jacket that is currently either burned or torn under the rubble.

How does it feel to spend the winter without a cup of hot chocolate? Without your favorite comfy pjs?

Nothing feels the same.

Even the colors faded in my eyes.

The North is starving, the south is packed with people homeless under endless fire.

When will this end?

I want this to end right now.

I have gray hair in my head now, my face changed.

We are heartbroken.

Do you hear us? Do you see us?

I miss Montaser, Hamza, Rushdi, Abdullah, Mohammed and Nidal.

I do not want to loose more people I love.

This journey is taking too long.

Please do anything to stop this.

Don’t forget us.

A child in Gaza is killed every 15 minutes. That means, once you sleep 8 hours and wake up, 32 additional children would have been killed. By the time you finish work, another 32 will have been killed. All these children didn’t even get the chance to dream. We need a ceasefire now.

Motaz Azaiza should have been dead by now. Death stalked the streets of Deir al-Balah where he grew up, long before Israel’s assault on Gaza. There had been close encounters in the past; as a teen he was once shot by an Israeli sniper.

When Israel launched its offensive in Gaza after the 7 October Hamas attacks, Azaiza picked up his camera and headed to the frontlines. Despite his clearly marked press vest, in December he narrowly avoided being hit again by Israeli forces.

Israel denies targeting journalists but, according to a group of UN experts, more than 122 journalists and media professionals in Gaza have been killed so far: the deadliest conflict for members of the press in recent history.

Two weeks after being evacuated from Gaza, the 25-year-old Palestinian – who has amassed 18.5 million followers on Instagram – sat down with the Guardian to share his experiences of the war.

In the days leading up to his evacuation, says Israeli drones hovered above his home and he began receiving death threats from unknown numbers. The bombs got closer and louder. “I would lie awake in my bed thinking: ‘Any moment now, I will be next,’” he says. He has lost count of the number of friends he has lost.

Although Azaiza has lived through many Israeli offensives, he says this has been by far the worst. “It’s unlike anything we’ve ever experienced,” he says. Through his lens, the rest of the world was able to witness the devastation in Gaza – often in the form of raw, unfiltered videos of those killed or injured.

“I’m not a celebrity, nor would I ever want to be. Before this, I was a very private person,” says Azaiza.

“I wish people knew me for my art,” he says. Before the war, Azaiza would create portraits of ordinary Palestinians doing everyday things; a fruit seller at the market, a picnic on the beach, children chasing one another down a cobbled street. “I wanted to capture the beauty of my people,” he says.
