Looking for the best burger in Melbourne? 🍔☀️💯 @pinchys_co, a beloved gem in Melbourne’s dining scene known for its seafood and vegan delights, has embarked on an exciting new chapter of adding a selection of meat dishes that inject fresh depth and innovation to its already acclaimed menu. 🤩
Under the culinary genius of Chef Pieter Buijsse, the restaurant invites diners to experience an elevated interpretation of surf and turf. ☀️
The inclusion of meat is as refined as one would expect from Pinchy’s. The menu shines with dishes like the tender Pork Tomahawk Cotoletta, accompanied by bagna cauda, native herbs, and rock oysters—a melt-in-your-mouth masterpiece that echoes Buijsse’s mastery of flavors and textures. 💯
The Hibachi Quail, paired with native pepper, juniper, beetroot, and a touch of sea herbs, delivers a punch of complexity that captivates the palate.✨
While Pinchy’s keeps seafood front and center, the new additions create an intriguing interplay of land and sea. The Grilled Octopus, paired with a smoky Davidson plum BBQ sauce and delicate taramasalata, embodies this approach perfectly. 🌟
The integration of meat, however, reaches its pinnacle with their newly famed Wagyu Beef Burger. Luxurious yet playful, it’s adorned with smoked tuna bacon, American cheese, pickles, marie-rose sauce, and trout roe, showcasing Pinchy’s knack for fusing the unexpected with finesse. A double patty is a highlight, and the burger has the option of being crowned with a Lobster claw and saltbush fries. 🦞
Complementing the menu, Buijsse’s brilliant smaller bites remain a highlight. The Scalloped Potato, a golden creation topped with scallop ceviche and yuzu kosho, is an indulgent standout, while the Crispy Potato Galette with veal and tonnato sauce is another tribute to how Pinchy’s elevates comfort food to an art form. 🙌
An exceptional wine list beckons diners to embrace bold pairings, while a stellar cocktail selection ad
Perfect Pinsa Party! 🥳 “An Afternoon in Roma”at @flourchild.au Richmond was magnificent enjoying a demonstration of their unique Pinsa Romana technique followed by a delicious sit-down lunch with signature cocktails! 🍹 🍕🍕
Our dining experience featured superb Antipasto followed by their famous Pinsa Romana in all its glory. I loved our delicious Party Pinsa with 3 flavours featuring Meatballs Pinsa as well as Margherita Pinsa and Damn Hot Pinsa. I didn’t feel “heavy” afterwards but moreso on a Pinsa high!🕺
If you’re not familiar, this isn’t your typical pizza—this is true craftsmanship. The dough, a blend of soy, rice, and 00 wheat flours, is kneaded and rested for 48 hours, giving it a light, crispy, and incredibly digestible base. Each bite of the dough was a revelation in texture, with a perfect balance of crispness as well as light and “fluffy” on the inside. ✨
The Richmond venue is a vibe. Housed in a former dance studio, the space still holds that sense of movement and rhythm, enhanced by a retractable rooftop and a central bar that’s impossible to miss. The energy of the place, coupled with plush seating and a dazzling display of over 10,000 bottles of liquor, sets the stage for a night that’s both stylish and fun. 🤩
We also heard from one of the owners Eddie Muto, whose passion for Pinsa is infectious, as an OG in bringing the Pinsa experience to Melbourne. ☀️
The masterclass was so much fun as we made our own Pinsa creation with coaching from the talented chef. This activation deepened our appreciation for this unique Roman style pizza.🍕
Whether you’re here for the Pinsa or the cocktails, Flour Child Richmond knows how to deliver. The buzz, the food, the people—this is a spot that brings joy to Richmond with a stylish and unique offering. 🤩🕺💯

There’s something magnetic about @mr_vincenzos, a stunning new addition to Mornington’s Esplanade, from Chef Matti Fallon and his crack team (incl @alloausina & @mkcookedit). With around 60% of the menu changing daily, it’s a creative tour de force with a dedication to fresh, local seasonal ingredients. 💯
The retro 1970s vibe is evident from the moment you walk in— wine-bottle-green floors, corduroy touches, cork accents, red-glazed tiles, and warm waffle-yellow walls set the stage for a dining experience steeped in nostalgia yet utterly contemporary. ✨
The Negroni and Old Fashioned were our opening acts, their rich colors popping against the vibrant interior. 🍹
What followed was a menu that brings a slice of Italy to Mornington but with Matti’s genius touch. Vitello Tonnato, with thin slices of veal, topped with fried capers and radicchio, was a masterclass in simplicity and flavor. The mussels sourced from Mt Martha, rustically paired with nduja, leeks, saffron, and cannellini beans, were hearty with a subtle heat that lingered.🕺
Then came the Snapper crudo, freshly caught from Port Phillip Bay that very morning— a delicious vibrant dish heightened by preserved orange and blood orange. The Campanelle pasta dish featured cone-like pasta enveloped in beef ragu, garden relish, and pecorino Romano, and was rustic comfort food at its finest. 🍝
A highlight was the stuffed calamari, a showstopper on its first day on the menu. Cutting through its tender body to reveal a filling of feta, and surrounded by capsicum and black barley, it oozed richness and rustic charm. The seasonal greens with garlic, chili, and pangrattato offered a welcome, crunchy accompaniment. 🙌
The white chocolate tiramisu with pistachio was indulgent and another showstopper, and the torta del nonna was a Tuscan inspired joy. ☀️
Wine list is exceptional including choice Italian wines such as the 2022 ArPePe Rosso di Valtellina, perfect with the food. 🍷

Looking for a top notch bistro with style that won’t break the bank? 🤩✨ Ned’s at Night from @nedsbake and Bistro is a standout in Middle Park. 🤩💯 While known for their bakery, their bistro offering holds its own, becoming a popular spot for locals. With Spring and Summer around the corner, the allure of outdoor tables will likely boost its already growing popularity. 🥳
Our evening began with a simple yet sensational start: fresh Ned’s bakery bread with truffle butter. Paired with a glass of Margaret River’s finest Howard Park Flint Rock Pinot, the meal started on a high note. 🙌🍷
The Lobster Croissant was the first of many showstoppers. 🦞Buttery and flaky, the croissant enveloped a rich and indulgent lobster filling, its presentation as delightful as its taste. The Anchovy Toast, featuring Cantabrian anchovy on sourdough toast with French butter, provided a delightful salty punch. 💯
Next came the Truffled Mushroom Arancini. With a perfect texture and delicious filling, the light crumb allowed the truffle to enhance rather than overpower. The Steak Frites offered excellent value; the steak was perfectly cooked, paired with decadent Montpellier butter.🌟
However, the dish of the night was undoubtedly the Pappardelle. The handmade pasta had a delightful texture, and the rich lamb ragu, finished with pecorino, offered depth and complexity. 🍝
Ned’s Garlic Bread, a unique croissant-style take on the classic, showcased their bakery prowess once more. We finished with a creamy, well-executed Tiramisu, a fitting end to a stellar meal.🕺
As I remarked to Chris from the front-of-house, “It’s all killer, no filler.” Chatting with other diners, it was clear that everyone was highly impressed, with locals particularly appreciative of having such a gem in their neighborhood. ✨
Is this the most indulgent sandwich experience in Melbourne? 🏆🔥💯
The “3 Salamis Sandwich” from @3salamis is a serious contender, sending us into satiation overdrive as a fully loaded celebration of deli meats and artisanal ingredients. 🙌
First, let’s talk about the bread. The schiacciata focaccia is a revelation—crisp on the outside, tender on the inside, providing the perfect platform for this “loaded beast”. Each bite starts with that satisfying crunch, leading into the soft, pillowy texture that only the best focaccia can deliver. 🥳
Then, there’s the filling. Three kinds of cured meats—Casalingo Salami, Prosciutto Cotto (Italian Ham), and Mortadella—layered generously to create a rich, savory experience that could stand on its own. But @3salamis takes it a step further with house-made marinated red capsicums, which add a slight sweetness that balances the meat’s saltiness beautifully. The green split olives bring a tangy, umami punch that elevates the overall flavor profile.🤪
The spicy chili 🌶️ spread provides just the right amount of heat to make your taste buds sit up and take notice without overwhelming the other ingredients. Provolone Piccante adds a creamy, slightly sharp note, tying everything together in a delightful, melty embrace. 🥰
What sets @3salamis apart is not just the quality of their ingredients but the sheer generosity of their portions. Unlike some sandwich shops, these focaccias are genuinely loaded! 🙌💯
In the heart of Essendon, @3salamis is an institution. The friendly, engaging staff make you feel right at home, adding to the overall experience. And while the “3 Salamis Sandwich” is a standout, don’t miss the other delights like the Firenze, Napoli, and Bologna.😘
This is a place you’ll want to return to, again and again, to explore the depths of their compelling menu and indulge in ultimate Italian style sandwich satisfaction. 🔥

Dining @89_eureka to celebrate my beautiful wife Sam’s birthday was nothing short of spectacular. Perched high above Melbourne, we indulged in a six-course degustation with paired wines that felt like dining in the heavens. At times, the clouds pressed in around us, adding an ethereal quality, but mostly we were treated to clear, stunning views of the city below. 🤩
The experience began with a refreshing Lychee Mocktail and a vibrant Crimson Crown Cocktail, setting the tone. It was great to chat with Chef Renee Martillano, whose mastery over local and seasonal produce was evident throughout. 💯🙌
The scallop crudo was a delicate and delightful starter, featuring Hervey Bay scallops artfully paired with buttermilk, kaffir lime kosho, daikon, and nashi pear. This was paired with a lively Sartori Prosecco from Italy.🥳
The Celeriac dish proved to be a flavor bomb, complemented by black garlic, toasted seeds emulsion, parmesan, and whey. The Deviation Road Brut Rosé was an inspired pairing, its crispness balancing the rich flavors perfectly.
The heirloom beetroot course showcased the humble vegetable in a delicious medley of thinly sliced variations with mille feuille, milk cheese, white balsamic and horseradish. The Tarrawarra Marsanne Rousanne Viognier from Yarra Valley enhanced the earthy sweetness of the beets.🔥
A standout was the Southern Ranges Duck, cooked to perfection and served with red cabbage, griottine cherries, salt bush, and umeboshi. The Soul Growers Counoise Carignan from Barossa Valley complemented the duck beautifully.🎉
The Wagyu Beef Short Rib, served with kipfler, wattleseed, soy-glazed mushroom, and parsnip, was another highlight. The Onannon Shiraz from Mornington Peninsula offered depth and richness.
The meal concluded with a Caramelised apple parfait dessert, accompanied by pickled blackberries, passionfruit, and dark chocolate—a triumph of flavors and textures. The Bleasdale Sparkling Shiraz was the perfect finale, it
Stunning staycation @marnongestate where luxury meets the rustic charm of the countryside. 🤩
The accommodation features modern, spacious cabins equipped with all the amenities one could desire, each boasting breathtaking views. The open design, a spacious lounge, and an outdoor balcony make for a perfect retreat, especially at sunset, which is nothing short of spectacular at Marnong Estate. 🥳
The wine tasting at the Cellar Door was a highlight, led by the hospitable Angelo, whose knowledge and passion was typical of the staff who engaged us at Marnong Estate. We were particularly taken with the versatile Single Vineyard Montepulciano and the Single Vineyard Shiraz, each revealing delightful layers of complexity and character. 🍷
La Vètta Ristorante, with its authentic Italian cuisine, is a standout restaurant with an elevated yet approachable offering. The menu features fresh, seasonal, high-quality local ingredients that pair beautifully with their Estate wines. The “Chefs Journey” is a must-experience, offering dishes like the fermented potato focaccia and the artistic Ora King Salmon Gelato, which paired beautifully with the Marnong Estate NV Brut. 🥰
Each course impressed. The Abrolhos Island Octopus cooked over coal and served with Insalata Di Pere, both paired with the standout crisp 2021 Pinot Grigio. However, the showstopper was the Paccheri with Moreton Bay Bugs, complemented by the 2021 Marnong Estate Fiano. 🙌 The mains didn’t disappoint either; the Tasmanian blue eye fish, paired with the 2021 Chardonnay, was pesce perfection, and the 200g Ruby Reserve Wagyu Flank Steak, paired with the 2022 Shiraz, was melt-in-your-mouth divine. Heritage potatoes from their wood-fired oven added a delightful touch. 🤗
Dessert continued the impressive streak with Sorbetto and a decadent Chocolate Mousse, perfectly paired with the Marnong Estate NV Nuovo Rich. 🤪
Marnong Estate offers a blend of comfort, luxury, spectacular views and exception
