The KARK 4 family mourns the death of an on-air favorite whose medical advice attracted many viewers. Dr. David Lipschitz was featured for several years each Wednesday at noon until his retirement from TV in 2016.

A memorial service will be held at Temple B’nai Israel at 3 p.m. Wednesday March 8, 2023. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in his honor to Planned Parenthood of Little Rock or the Interfaith Center of Arkansas.

Viewers never got to see Chris, but he was the mastermind working behind the scenes, making sure the newscast was top-notch.

For weeks, the team at KARK 4 News has been praying for show producer Chris Scott, a key member of our newsroom, as he fought illness. Sadly, Chris passed away earlier Tuesday.
