Embark on a fantastical journey with The Violution and experience a night of electrifying music where fantasy meets reality: a story of perseverance, confidence and the pursuit of success amidst the adversity of life’s challenges. Personified through our heroine JLynn, Electric Violin (Aerosmith, Journey, TLC, Richard Marx, Adele) and her hooded ally Patrick Caccia, Drums (Steve Vai, Billy Sheehan, Eric Sardinas, Andy Vargas, Mark Farner), the show features original compositions and iconic rock and symphonic metal favorites (Queen, Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, Iron Maiden, Foo Fighters, and more). You’ll be awestruck upon witnessing the violin performed in a way never seen or heard before! ⁠

Such a beautiful post from Steve Vai himself. I had the pleasure of touring with him in support of one of his world tours and this post made me miss his focus, passion, attention to every detail on stage and off stage, awareness and love for all things related to music and life itself. What a great influence he always has been in my life and continues to be even when not physically sharing the same space. Thank you Steve for writing this post and sharing your feeling. Very inspiring as always.

The Story

VMA Studios Las Vegas is a recording and music production studio specializing in acoustic and electric strings run by Patrick Caccia (Drummer, Producer, Engineer, Mixer). VMA Studios can accommodate any number of string instruments, starting with a single instrument to an octet (double string quartet). The setting's high ceilings add a natural reverb for a grander and fuller sound while instruments already installed with pickups can plug into a Direct Input for a more direct tone. About Patrick Caccia: Renowned foremost as a drummer sharing the stage with international touring artists Steve Vai and Eric Sardinas, Patrick Caccia also has an established reputation in Los Angeles and worldwide as an engineer and producer in the highly competitive business of records, film and television. Understanding the business from different points of view with years of experience on and off the stage, Patrick brings a breadth of knowledge to House of Strings.
