Emotions at Play with Pixar's Inside Out on display at the Grand Rapids Children's Museum from June 1 through September 8, 2024

Emotions at Play with Pixar’s Inside Out, the first interactive exhibit based on the award-winning film, helps visitors – young and old – understand the important role emotions, memory and imagination play in our everyday lives. Focusing on the five core emotions featured in Disney and Pixar’s Inside Out – Joy, Sadness, Anger, Disgust and Fear – hands-on and digital experiences in the exhibit offer opportunities to explore some of the ways we express our emotions – and recognize emotions in others, too.

A Glimpse of Africa provides a platform that brings people together to celebrate, educate, and share the diverse rich African cultures through food, music, dance, fashion, art & crafts, and other community activities. Our annual festival is the largest African Cultural Festival in West Michigan with an attendance of over 4,000 people

A Glimpse Africa festival features:

•Variety of African food from different countries.
•Designers & models showcasing African clothes and fashion trends
•Authentic African merchandise.
•Variety of entertainment by local African DJs, singers, and dancers.
•Interactive activities such as hair braiding, henna tattoos, headwrap tutorials, fun quizzes, and so much more.
