Through a multi-media platform aimed at an intelligent, open-minded, and adventurous audience, Ryzia pushes beyond dramatized entertainment and highlights the most genuine people who’ve taken the most authentic journey
and arrived in extraordinary places. OUR STORY Kyle, John, and James have been developing Ryzia since the summer of 2014. What began as a mission to highlight undiscovered music videos has expanded to include an interview series focused on undiscovered stories. We’ve gathered this content in the form of interviews, documentaries, creative writings, and more, and we’re eager to share them with the world. For three seasons he’s been the on-field pregame host at Yankee Stadium. Across his time covering major professional sports and entertainment, Kyle has conducted interviews with the likes of Derek Jeter, LeBron James, and Billy Crystal, and Jimmy Fallon. Off the beaten path, Kyle backpacked through 15 European cities in 2013. Along the way, he wrote about his experiences with corrupt law enforcement, natural disasters, and basic human interaction. John and Kyle met during their undergraduate days at Columbia and Fordham respectively. John adds a blend of creativity and financial expertise that drives Ryzia behind the scenes. From piloting an airplane at age 10 to working Plaza Hotel security with the FBI to a spontaneous trip to Manila in 2015, John propels Ryzia with his desire for knowledge and exploration. Late 2014, the pair met James and immediately gravitated toward his technical background and overall efficiency. A full stack developer, James worked on the backend of The Wall Street Journal’s official website before joining Ryzia’s team. He is also the lead developer of Webjunto, a web and mobile dev shop in Philly.
