Charles Aznavour one of our many artists on WJSTJETSET Radio. This is just a bit of information., definitely Google him!

May 1924 – 1 October 2018) was a French singer of Armenian ancestry, as well as a lyricist, actor and diplomat. Aznavour was known for his distinctive vibrato tenor voice:
clear and ringing in its upper reaches, with gravelly and profound low notes. In a career as a composer, singer and songwriter, spanning over 70 years, he recorded more than 1,200 songs interpreted in 9 languages. Moreover, he wrote or co-wrote more than 1,000 songs for himself and others. Aznavour is regarded as one of the greatest songwriters of all time and an icon of 20th-century pop culture.

After WJST Jet Set Radio relaunched on April 1st, 2024, there was up towards 200-300+ listeners in a 24 hour period.
In the past two months it has steadily declined down to less than 100 listeners in a 24 hour period; with 6-12 listeners at any one time.
I’m having to continually wonder what it is I’m doing wrong each day, while I badly struggle to keep it on the air with Live365?
I have inquired with Live365 regarding any money earned from airing their commercials, they told me it’s $0 (due to low listenership, and they hoard the profit for themselves anyway).
With now 900+ followers and likes on the WJST Jet Set page, why aren’t any of them listening all of the time or at all?? 🤔🤷‍♂️
Does anybody actually read my posts down this far? 🤔🤔

Ennio Morricone (Italian) 10 November 1928 – 6 July 2020) was an Italian composer, orchestrator, conductor, trumpeter, and pianist who wrote music in a wide range of styles. With more than 400 scores for cinema and television, as well as more than 100 classical works, Morricone is widely considered one of the most prolific and greatest film composers of all time. He received numerous accolades including two Academy Awards, three Grammy Awards, three Golden Globes, six BAFTAs, ten David di Donatello, eleven Nastro d'Argento, two European Film Awards, the Golden Lion Honorary Award, and the Polar Music Prize in 2010.

*** I’m having a hard financial time keeping WJST on the air.
🙁
It’s been a good while since I updated everyone regarding the radio stations financial wellbeing.

In May, staying employed part time at AutoZone proved to be impossible; it was a very hostile and dangerous work environment actually.

So in June I got hired full time at O’Reilly’s Auto Parts, with a slight little increase in pay, a whopping $12 an hour bi-weekly pay; at 53 years old.

Even with the increased hours, that’s still not enough to cover all of my personal bills, debts, obligations, and especially pay the $200 Live365 monthly invoices.

So in June, I began to redesign the WJST Jet Set Skybound Store, powered by Shopify; which took me almost a month to build.
The purpose was to find easier tangible ways to financially support WJST and hopefully lure more new listeners to WJST who could also donate.

In late June, I covered the remaining half due of the Live365 invoice, which left me pretty deeply overdrawn with the bank; including fees.

Now towards late July, Martha wants me to shut the station back down indefinitely, if I don’t receive enough or any donations moving forward.
Martha says lots of other stuff to me about this subject that’s not very helpful, but she’s not completely wrong either. 🙄🤷‍♂️

On April 1st, after 7 months of silence, I signed on WJST with the reassurances that everyone could please donate regularly each month.

As of today, the WJST Jet page has a record 901 followers!
I have no idea how many of those have the notifications turned on, or listening to WJST, but even half is a lot! It would be nice if they could chip in as well.

I am now praying to Father God and Savior Jesus, to please reach out to every page follower and listener, they may please financially support WJST.

Last night I introduced Floor Mats, Shower Mats and Shower Curtains to the WJST Jet Set Skybound Store. I’m even selling flavored coffee and snack foods too; through Amazon.

Running the Jet Set Skybound Store with Shopify is another $40+ a month. But I’m trying to offer something to everyone, and I desperately need your help.
Not just for July, but each month after.
The extra money will go towards commercial free listening, if it’s enough to support that feature.

The good news at the moment is, after 22 days of the Skybound Store opening, we already had two sales!

A few of you have donated already, and I’m extremely most very thankful and humbled! 🙇🙇🙏🙏 But I still need more to cover $200 by July 30th, and each month after.

So with those two wonderful sales, it’s only just barely beginning, and I would love very much for it to go further; instead of just giving up and shutting down for Martha. She wants to see results, and won’t let this go. 🙁

I’m going to keep it on for as long as I can, but I Do Really Need Everyone’s Help each month possible.

Robert Leo Hackett (January 31, 1915[1] – June 7, 1976)[2] was a versatile American jazz musician who played Swing music, Dixieland jazz and Mood music, now called Easy Listening, on trumpet, cornet, and guitar. He played Swing with the bands of Glenn Miller and Benny Goodman in the late 1930s and early 1940s, he played Dixieland music from the 1930s into the 1970s in a variety of groups with many of the major figures in the field, and he was a featured soloist on the first ten of the numerous Jackie Gleason mood music albums during the 1950s
