The annual Northenden Boat race took place on Sunday 27 August with a decent entry of dinghies and canoes taking on the challenge of a fast flowing #RiverMersey, all to raise funds for The Christie Charity.

It's a great line-up this weekend in #Northenden and #Wythenshawe with Noel Gallagher at #Wythenshawe Park (Saturday), a fun day at #PainswickPark with Wythenshawe Community Rugby Club, the annual Northenden Boat race (Sunday) and family fun over at Wythenshawe Cricket & Sports Club.
Our boat 'In the News' is officially #deadinthewater so we're back with a new dinghy and new crew member Ryan to try for another win.
Not to be taken (too) seriously, the boat race is a lot of fun and raises funds for The Christie Charity.
