The Writers Guild of Virginia and Rappahannock Art League are pleased to announce that Mathews Virginia resident and children’s book author Maurine Frank will be the guest speaker at their Second Saturday Social on July 13, 2024, from 5-7 pm. This free event will be held at the RAL Art Center, 19 North Main Street, Kilmarnock, Va., and will feature a panel discussion on writing and choosing children’s books. Award-winning author and educator Ann Eichenmuller will host the panel.
Maurine Frank has been writing and illustrating children’s books for over five years. Her books have been praised for their engaging stories and beautiful illustrations and were both #1 best sellers on Amazon. Frank’s passion for writing and love for children has inspired her to share her knowledge and experience with others interested in writing for children.
