In all seriousness, I might as well as start the day as I mean to go on. It's my nephew's fourth birthday today and so there's sure to be plenty of cake. I can't wait.
We've been planning his birthday present for absolutely ages. It's a vintage tricycle which my husband lovingly restored with new handlebar grips and chain guard. The tricycle was originally red, but he saw a red tricycle and wanted to paint it blue.
We're heading to a park later to meet my family and surprise my nephew with it. I tell you, it's pretty difficult to wrap a tricycle, so an old bedsheet on top will have to do. Hopefully he prefers the tricycle to the bedsheet, but nothing is guaranteed with a four year old.
