p to 4,000 words, with some leeway if the story is worth it. Please send only one story at a time, and only one per reading period. If we’d like to see more, we’ll let you know. Erotica will not be accepted for publication (but you’re more than welcome to submit it anyway). Poetry
We are seeking poems of any length and in any form. You may submit up to five poems at once, but please only submit once per reading period. We are open to most subjects and forms, aside from those that try to be overtly oblique. Art
If you’re interested in providing the cover art for the first issue, that’s awesome. Send in up to five pieces (keeping in mind they’re going to be in black and white, and most likely cheaply reproduced) in a common image format. In the subject of the email, please indicate it contains art. Other Guidelines
Send all stories and poems in the body of an email, not as an attachment. You may submit both five poems AND a piece of fiction, if you so choose. Also, include your name and a short biography. Please do not submit anything that has been published elsewhere, whether it be in print or on the internet. We accept simultaneous submissions, but please notify us if your piece is accepted elsewhere. We hold First North American Serial Rights, and all rights return to the author upon publication. We do ask that you mention us in reprints of pieces first published here. We could use the publicity. All contributors will receive a copy of the issue they appear in.
