Knoxville Reference Desk
Knoxville Reference Desk is a collaborative space for students in Prof. Nick Geidner’s social journalism and advanced reporting classes in the School of Journalism and Electronic Media at the University of Tennessee. Knoxville Reference Desk provides a space for UT journalism students to train as journalists and grow as engaged community members.
Throughout the fall 2018 semester, our students will use web and social media platforms to answer questions and address concerns within the Knoxville community. This process will integrate social listening and in-depth reporting to create reciprocal feedback loops between journalists and community members.
Most importantly, we want to hear your questions and there is really no stupid question. If you don’t understand something about our community, we’re making it our job to research your question and try to figure out an answer.
