Carry on Entertainment - Ramdas Padhye Live is a 2 hour show featuring Ventriloquist, Puppeteer & Puppet-Maker Ramdas Padhye and his team.The show features the entire Padhye Family viz.Aparna Padhye, Pariksh*t Padhye, Satyajit Padhye and Rujuta Padhye

Ramdas Padhye’s most well known and beloved puppet character “Ardhavatrao”, also known as “Mr. Crazy” has turned 100 years of age in mid-2016. This character was originally created by his father Y.K.Padhye, who is the pioneer Indian Ventriloquist and performing since 1916. “Ardhavatrao” or “Mr. Crazy” is probably the first “Puppet Character” in India which is turning 100 years of age.
This will be a historic event and a moment of achievement in the puppetry and ventriloquism world. To celebrate the centenary year of this puppet character, Ramdas Padhye has planned a special show titled “Carry on Entertainment – Ramdas Padhye Live” to be staged across various parts of India and abroad so that audiences across the globe can witness this historic phenomena live, re-live the nostalgia and witness the magic of this puppet character once again.

Highlights of “Carry on Entertainment - Ramdas Padhye Live” :

Never before seen Puppet R***e with Fun, Fantasy and Music, tickling the funny bone of young and old alike.

This show consists of best puppetry and ventriloquism acts specially curated, created and designed by Ramdas Padhye which have never been seen by Indian audiences before.

The show would be enjoyed by people of all age groups as Ramdas Padhye and his team skillfully demonstrate different puppetry forms which appeal to children as well as adults.

The show includes some of his well known puppet characters like Lijjat Papad Bunny, Tatya Vinchu from the film Zapatlela which are itched in the minds of all the Indians.

Several types of puppets, muppets, marionettes and various puppetry techniques are used with background musical score & presented in a different & offbeat manner.

The show will have a special act celebrating the centenary year of Ramdas Padhye’s beloved puppet character “Ardhavatrao” or “Mr.Crazy” and would be a unique opportunity for audiences to witness this phenomena live which will be the highlight of this show.

We make Custom Made Puppets...
This advertisement (of blinkit and zomato) has gone viral. Hence I thought of creating this which suits us.
I know that our puppet making skill is highly creative and can't be compared to any other service in the world considering puppets are hand-made and lot of skill is involved right from designing till final output.
However over the years, we really have made puppet characters and puppets as per the requirements of production houses, ad-film makers, feature film makers, directors creatively delivering what the client ultimately wants.
It has been a fun ride and it continues to be every time.
Creating a puppet for us is giving a birth to a baby and bringing it to life.

Do you remember Ardhavatrao and Awadabai, the famous puppet couple popularised by Ventriloquist & Puppeteer Ramdas Padhye when television 📺 started in India 🇮🇳 in 1970’s? In fact Ardhavatrao is 104 years old puppet created by Ramdas’s father Yeshwant Padhye in 1917 and he is testimony to social, political, economic, cultural changes in India and he has always commented through lens of a common man. Both these puppets have entertained 🎭 generations of people through their inimitable wit and humour🤹🏻‍♂️. In 2021, they are still doing the same though the medium is now Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts. Stay tuned for series of videos.
