About Us
It’s the classic tale: gay boy meets wildly feminist girl while at orientation for their religious studies graduate program. Little did they both know but soon after they would not only go on to become BFFL but also roommates (before Marci left John to go get married and move in with her husband)!
While Marci and John continued their academic endeavours and eventually wound up in Ph.D. programs that seemed as resilient as the ancient vampires were in Buffy Season 7, Marci and John have been able to make it through because of their common love: pop culture! And, like all good millenials, why not talk about that love on a podcast?!
Each episode Marci and John break down the weird or current news story from the week and then recap the latest episode or movie they have chosen to dive into. In Season 1, they recapped the new USA Network show The Purge and are currently on Season 2, where they are discussing Sundance NOW’s A Discovery of Witches.
