Reasons why you should ALWAYS provide your photographer with a family shot list. I always ask my couples to include names with their relationship to them in parenthesis. This helps me to listen for names all day to try to snag some moments the bride isn’t around for. It helps me memorize names too so I’m not trying to snag someones attention by saying “Hey grandma!!” 😂This truly helps family photos go by with little to no standing around looking for uncle jo bob. Which brings me to my next point that I cannot express enough, PLEASE for the love of God and all that is holy, please please please face to face tell family where you’ll be taking family portraits and when they need to be present so we aren’t trying to find them post ceremony and wasting precious time.
